“I try to think of it as a blessing and a curse. The upside is you guys will be healthy forever. The downside is.. well.. everything else.” She chuckled lightly. “Well, it’s a good thing you have a nice smile because it’ll just earn you more compliments.” Melissa grinned a bit herself, giving a small shrug. “Oh yeah, definitely safer. If he couldn’t heal himself I’d be worried about him on it, but since I can’t, I worry about myself on it instead.”

Jordan still found it weird that he was one if those guys, a supernatural creature. “I don’t think I’ve ever actually been sick so that is a plus on everything. Stop it, Melissa I’m going to turn completely red if you carry on.” He grinned at her but ducked his head a little. “Good. You need to make sure to worry about yourself as well as everyone else.”

Melissa let out a little breath of amusement at hearing that. "I bet your temperature always ran high though. Well, luckily you look good in red." She grinned back at him, giving a breathy laugh at his embarrassment. He was cute and didn't give himself enough credit for it. "I try to, but it usually goes on a day by day basis. Depending on how wild things get."
