Oh I would never want to ever go back too so I can understand why you would want to get out of there. I don’t need my mom to hear some rumors about something that may or may not have happened while I was out and about. Oh how was it there? I don’t think I’ve ever really lived in big cities such as that one, though I went once during Uni to visit time square. It can be but I’ve learned a lot of patience thankfully. Oh now I know why your name sounded familiar I’ve seen it before on the paper.
Yeah, Ireland is a great place to visit, it’s stunning don’t get me wrong, I can see why it’s a tourist place but it’s nice to be out of there. Oh, yeah. My mam would always believe the rumours that went around, even if they weren’t true. It was a crazy time. I loved it, it was so thrilling. I like being in Stonecastle now though, I feel it still has the city feel just not as intense. Oh, that’s cool. I love the job but the more editing you do, the less writing.
nxtalieportman:
Okay that makes sense, I’ve lived in small towns before and it was the worse, everyone knew who you were, hell you always heard things about yourself that you didn’t know. Oh gosh I didn’t even think about the commute once we get back into town. Oh I’m a social worker, do you work in writing?
Yes, that is exactly what my village was like. Something would happen in the town square and my mam would already know by the time I got home. It was just too much. I studied in New York and lived there for a while before moving here. Oh, that sounds like a tough gig. Yes, I am the editor-in-cheif for the Stonecastle News paper.
nxtalieportman:
Oh was it a hard choice to make to move to the states or was that a relitively easy one to make? I think I’m biased since I’m from the States I feel like I wouldn’t want to move from places like Ireland. Oh yeah I can see that I live near one of the main streets and i’m soo not looking forward to hearing the cars at all hours again after this. Oh that sounds like a lot of fun, my classes were mainly psychology based.
It was easy, I always wanted out. It is beautiful there, don’t get me wrong. But it’s a small place and everyone knows everyone, which, if you spend your whole life in, starts to get on top of you. Moving was an escape and I never looked back. Oh, I know. The morning rush to get to work will be a drag. Oh, that sounds fun. What is it you do?
jeremyinit:
Truthfully, I would imagine quite a bit, but you can do anything you set your mind to right? I totally understand though. It’s kind of magical here. Like anything could happen. Wow, you are painting quite the image. That sounds beautiful. You write poetry?
That’s true. My teachers did always call me ‘determind’ which I think was the nice way of saying bossy. Right? I did not think it would be my type of thing but I love it here, I don’t know how I will feel when we have to leave. Not for a while but I used to. Something about here makes me want to get back into it.
nxtalieportman:
Oh my god you grew up in Ireland? Oh I would love to live there even for just a month or two, I visited it a time or two and it’s gorgeous. Yes I do agree there is something about this place that has a wonderful calling to it, a call that I’m going to have to ignore. Well at least this place was able to inspire you to write, I should have taken more side classes while I was at Uni.
I did, yes. I lived there until I moved to the states for university and then I just stayed there. It’s a lovely place, I’ve been home a few times so it does make a good escape. It really does. I think Stonecastle might seem loud when we go home. I mean my major was English and Journalism so we got it as part of our creative writing modules, it was a lot of fun.
nxtalieportman:
Oh my god tell me about it! I want to stay here forever, I did not expect to love this place so much. I did not realize just how much of a break away from everything was just what the doctor hadn’t ordered but should have. You write poetry? That’s amazing I think I tried to write poems once in grade school but wasn’t very good at it.
Right? I grew up in a little village in Ireland and when I moved to the city I knew there was no going back. Or, well, I thought that anyways. But there is something here that is just sp peaceful and I love it. I used to, I very rarely get time for it anymore but being here has inspired me. I took a class on it at university, it was amazing.
Katies NYE Party look.
How much does a girl have to pay to make this place her home? I’ve only been here a night and now I want to run away and live here forever. All up in a little cabin where I can write potery and drink tea with not a care in the world like the greats and there is a spa right there? Sign me up for this life I didn’t know I needed.

Jeremy: Jeremy had really debated on if he wanted to come to this or not. On one hand, he did like parties, but usually close get togethers with his friends, good food, and music. He had no idea what to expect from this party, but since everyone he knew had been invited, he figured this was going to be some big rager. Still, Halloween was his second favorite holiday to Christmas, so he decided to pop in. Once he got there, he hung out for a little while, but then needed to use the restroom. Still, this huge house, how was he going to find it? Wandering around, he opened a small door that looked like it could be a bathroom. It was completely dark, so he stepped inside to look for a light switch, unknowing that it was a closet.
Katie: wasn't sure if she was going to make the party. She thought the invite didn't look legit but after asking around the office it seemed people were up for it so she thought she should tag along. Halloween was never a big thing back home in Ireland, but since coming to the States she found herself growing fond on the holiday. Katie was looking at her phone, trying to find a signal, she knew there was an email she needed answering but the place offered no signal, she was wandering around trying to find something that would give her one bar at least. She wondering into a room with an open door. "Oh, shit!" She said when she saw someone in the room. "Sorry, I was just looking for phone signal," Katie explained, turning to try and get back out. "What the feck?" Katie asked, pulling on the door handle. "Why won't this open?" She asked.
