A new project is coming up for Michael! A new series, a drama/thriller:
Taylor Kitsch And Michael C. Hall To Star In Drama ‘Shadowplay’
Taylor Kitsch and Michael C. Hall are teaming up to star in the new drama series “Shadowplay”.
The thriller, from the creator of “The Bridge”, will feature 16 episodes over two seasons, and is set in 1946 Berlin, in the aftermath of WWII and the early days of the Cold War.
It´s an international production and will be filmed in Prague!
Finally some pictures from the set of “Shadowplay” and Michael in costume.
A wholesome american police officer in post war Berlin. Very dapper. His film wife is Tuppence Middleton by the way, well known from “Downton Abbey” or “Sense8″
Two crew members posted these pictures, one them is young actor Maximilan Ehrenreich from Germany holding an umbrella for Michael during a rainy nightshoot.

Michael C. Hall (“Dexter,” Hedwig and The Angry Inch), Martha Plimpton (“The Good Wife,” PoA’s Gun Show), and actor-playwright Hamish Linklater (The Big Short, “Legion”) star in NUDITY RIDER, a world-premiere comedy by Linklater.
The cameras are ready to roll on the set of a New Orleans basic cable show, but the high-strung leading man, Keith Saturday, has a problem: his most up-close-and-personal scene has been unexpectedly rescheduled for today. And he’s been eating. A lot. Now, an incisive production assistant (Hall) and no-nonsense makeup artist (Plimpton) must battle the clock - and assuage Saturday’s ego - to save the shoot.
After the episode, host Claudia Catania joins the cast and director Moritz von Stuelpnagel (Broadway’s Hand to God, Bernhardt/Hamlet) for an in-studio interview about writing for radio and what it takes to be a successful actor.

Director Mans Marlind posted this video of the “Shadowplay” set in Czech Republic. It´s huge and a brilliant take of post war Berlin.

I have seen pictures and videos from the set. It looks amazing. It´s really a high class production with wonderful set ups.
No pictures of Michael in character yet, but some news on his role: his character´s name is Tom Franklin, he is the boss of Taylor Kitsch´s character Max McLaughlin, who is a police officer. Solving crimes in a destroyed Berlin, shortly before the cold war begins.
In Germany the production will be seen in 4 movie-long episodes. In other countries the series will be shown in 8 shorter episodes. Filming ends in September 2019, so they probably don´t shoot in 2020 again.

Singer Dylan from the band “Theophobia”, which opened the stage for the Princesses on Sunday had a fangirl moment with Michael. Found this on the PGTTBM instagram.

I saw some videos made from the concerts. The music from PGTTBM is an eclectic mix from what I´ve seen.
Their facebook info states as musical influences Giorgio Moroder, Black Sabbath and Johann Sebastian Bach. This is an interesting mix.
Michael is singing some mighty high notes - he is vocally very versatile and I can´t wait for the EP to listen and hear more of them.
The set list and a sheet with lyrics signed by Michael after the PGTTBM Show in April. One of the fans who got them posted this conversation:

A message from Michael for the “Dexter” actor, who refused to let him enter a nightclub in season 8 and who wrote on instagram:
Love it when worlds collide. My boy @mabston01 who I met while doing a play in Chicago back in 1997, is a successful broadway performer.
His most recent gig is a musical with #michaelchall with whom I worked with on Dexter in 2013.
He surprised me with a video with Michael last week and I saw their show today.
