The third single from the upcoming album was released on june 17th by Flood Magazine. Good God, I totall missed that the band formed nearly a decade ago....
A little tidbits on the new song and some more news from Michael provided by the magazine.
"Princess Goes was officially formed nearly a decade ago, but the band’s roots go deeper to earlier in the 2010s when Michael H. Hall, Matt Katz-Bohen, and Peter Yanowitz shared the stage as members of the fictional band Hedwig and the Angry Inch during a 2014 run of the popular play of the same name. Now two albums deep with a third planned for later this year, the trio have achieved a remarkable chemistry that tends to be unique to artists whose collaboration spans a dozen years. “Our collaboration has grown more intuitive, free-flowing, and porous,” Hall told us regarding new material he recently recorded with his group. Before sharing any details of the forthcoming LP, the band returns today with the project’s second single “Sincere Chroma," which finds Princess Goes taking things in stride, with vibey synths and cool vocal effects contrasting with the turmoil of the song’s lyrics. Watch Michael C. Hall give his bandmate a haircut in the music video for the track, which is debuting today on floodmagazine.com at the link in our bio."
