I am so so glad I’m not alone! I thin the cheesy and cliché parts of the holidays are what make it the most magical! Have you done any decorating yet? Or done any shopping? I know I already went crazy with decorations. 

Yes, they are! Less and less people like, seem to think so too, like minded people are few and far between! Not the decs yet, I always do the traditional “12 days” thing, 12 days before Christmas Day they go up, and 12 days after I take them down, but I have done some shopping! Which is like, unlike me, i’m definitely normally a last minute shopper and get like, stupidly stressed. What about you?

I feel like this is kind of an unpopular opinion? But I find marshmallows like, low-key kinda gross. Especially in hot chocolate where they go like, kinda melty? I can’t, bro.

Anything that’s like, gingerbread or cinnamon flavour always wins for me. I feel like you just can’t beat it.

I love the seasonal hot chocolates they bring out in winter, like ugh, so many good variations, I never know which one to choose from.

It’s the time of year for recitals for my classes and I don’t think I’ll ever get over how much my students tug at my heart strings. Just getting to watch them from the beginning to now deciding what they’d like to perform is amazing. I just feel so lucky to be their teacher. How is everyone else doing though? Excited for the holidays? 

Man, I am so stoked for the holidays. Like, all of the super cliche parts of it too, they’re like, totally the best part of Christmas.

A lot of people didn’t. We aren’t very showy in our relationship. We didn’t try and hide it. I just don’t think the village is very observant.

I read something once that said people who post things about their other half a lot online, like photos and stuff, all of the time, they’re like, actually typically unhappier than people who don’t in their relationship. So like, that’s probably a good thing.

Not really. I mean… I was wearing winter coats, snow pants, gloves, scarf… I was dressed appropriately to play in the snow. Of course after a while I got cold and had to come back inside. 

Oh right, that makes more sense, I guess i’m like, still not used to that being normal winter wear. I’ve actually never made a snow angel in my life, maybe this year will be the first.

I’ve never thought about that before and you’re right. There’s something so calming and peaceful about watching the snow fall down. When I was younger, I loved to lay in the snow and just look at the sky. I kind of miss doing it.

You used to lay in it? How did you not like, freeze?
