And I think there’s an important parallel between Jimmy and pre crash Curly and between Anya and post crash Curly. Jimmy and Curly are like mirror versions of each other almost, with Jimmy acting on a more bold way but with a similar mindset to Curly. Anya and Curly’s is more clear because the crash makes Curly a victim to Jimmy, destroying his autonomy the same way that Jimmy destroyed Anya’s autonomy and making him dependent on either Jimmy or Anya (for his painkillers) the way Anya was dependent on him to help her after she was raped. It might even be considered a parallel with Curly being forced to eat his leg and Anya’s rape. Ok enough of my thoughts for today

I have nowhere else to post my grievances abt this cuz no one ik gaf abt mouthwashing but the way people condemn Jimmy but continue to love Curly makes me so mad. Curly is not a good guy, just because Jimmy raped Anya doesn’t mean that Curly didn’t contribute to all her suffering. He lied and said he would make sure everyone in the crew would be taken care of, and while he wasn’t actively physically harming people, he fully enabled Jimmy the entire time; he enabled Jimmy’s shitty behavior from the beginning and comforted JIMMY after Anya told him she was pregnant. So all this curly fanart it just gets on my nerves. I mean, it’s okay if you don’t fully catch the meaning when you go through the game but that’s why people talk abt it online so you can understand. Very frustrating
