𝙷𝙴𝙰𝙳𝙲𝙰𝙽𝙾𝙽   . 

this is pretty much gonna be a cohesive post about annabelle  +  the gang   !!!

♡     .     i’m gonna start with the timeline    —    in the game, it’s implied that annabelle is a part of dutch’s gang for at most a little over three full years and that seems kinda lame. so, by the time of her death in 1892, annabelle would have been in the gang for around  .  .  .  eight to seven years, since she joined when she was somewhere in her very early twenties soon after she killed her husband. the last five years of her time with the gang she was dating dutch, where the time before that she spent drifting in and out in order to assist her family and their work. in my main verse, set in 1899, annabelle would be thirty nine years old, and would have been in the gang for i believe about fourteen years.

♡     .     annabelle found the gang through one of the members   (    i dont know yet i just don’t want it to be dutch djhfsdkjhdkfg    )    attempting to rob her home she had shared with her ex husband, jacob held, around a week after his murder. suffice to say, she wasn’t getting the sleep necessary to rest through a home invasion, and nearly put a hole in the person’s head before, honestly, laughing it off. she never really wanted all of that dirty money that jacob offered. due to the fact that she, at the time, was acting sporadically and began feeling suffocated in her home, she took an offer to ride with the gang not long after that. 

♡     .     ms. pineda cares deeply for a majority of the gang, and considers some of the members to be a part of her family. however, this isn’t true for everyone. bill, reverend, strauss, and micah, all skate very thin ice with her. she is very open about her opinions with these people especially. frankly, she thinks micah’s existence in the camp is dangerous and, as an immigrant  +  a woman of color, she is incredibly unnerved by him and will do everything in her power to avoid or scold him as well as bill. on the opposite end, the rest of the gang members all have a piece of her heart   —   she considers them to be her nearest and dearest, and it is very evident that she’d fight tooth and nail for the people she think have earned it.
