So i dropped my phone this morning… while posting a picture of my breakfast, and it went completely haywire.  now this phone is only good as a strobe light or as a tool to give an epileptic a seizure. ( i promise i will not try to give an epileptic seizures and i do not endorse trying) i spent the rest of the day thinking, ooh i need to take a picture of this and that, and then being disappointed upon remembering that my phone is in fact broken.

why is it that whenever you tell other people things you want to do they give you a list of ways you could fail? think of all we could accomplish if we motivated and supported each other instead of planting seeds of doubt.

procrastination will be the death of the human race.

ignorance is not bliss. ignorance will kill you while you sleep walk.

you make me me. the further from you i go the further i feel from myself so lets bridge this distance between us this distance between ourselves.

bloom.

you can tell a flower to bloom all you want .

but flowers don’t bloom because they are told.

flowers bloom because they are nourished.

moments.

we live our lives thinking there is always tomorrow. we don't have the time right now. we will make it up later. the truth is there is only now. we miss out on the present moment when we are living in memories. nothing ever stays the same. we must enjoy the moments while we have them. if i could redo my life knowing all the things i know now. i would have kept in touch with people more. drawn up the courage to say what i really felt. spent more time in the company of the ones i have lost. ones lost to distance. ones lost to death. ones lost to time. i would have spent less time worrying about what people thought of me. and more time enjoying the moments. and it is not too late to start. start right now... in this moment. enjoy each moment for what it is. because the memories that stick with us are the ones where we are fully present. not stuck in the past or worrying about the future. and after all... life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.
