gonna be uploading some sutff; had a surgery a bit ago and having another in a short period of time, both to address a nerve issue.

Hello Vampires, Vampire lovers, and unsuspecting strangers who wandered into this dark alley! At long last we are announcing our full contributor list for Carpe Noctem: Vampires Through the Ages! We have a very talented group of contributors onboard, and we’re excited to see it all come together.

The main zine will feature writing, art, and poetry spanning human/vampiric history from the Stone Ages all the way to the early 2000s. Our Merch Artists are responsible for creating pins, stickers, keychains, prints, and more to accompany the zine. Finally, our 18+ Booklet, “Fine Dining,” will be available as an add-on for all your sexy vampire needs.

let me tell u, my particularly garish subvariant of furry is noooot easy to transplant on top of a drawing meant to be humans. >> if save and speed up the video of this one's progress, you'll see the heads just sloooowly migrating upwards as i make room for their long faces~

I do consider these images to be complete in every state. I continue working on them and generate more images, and then these images sometimes (but not always) get used as cartoons or sketches or collage material or other raw fodder for future works. My studio is modular and cyclic.

i made a brush out of acorns and i was testing it out

krita has spoiled me forever~ I can never love another program~~

unless they, too, offer me a really sophisticated colorpicker that does mixing and [the program] LETS ME ADJUST THE PRESSURE CURVES MYSELF ON THE ACTUAL CURVES ;----;

ordinarily that's a problem that can be solved by altering ur tablet calibration buuuut the rig i've got going RN is not really one where i can do that RIP. So i'm gonna see about maybe exporting my acorn brushes to Krita and THE PROGRAM THAT REALLY LOVES ME, PHOTOSHOP.

so anyway, here's a doodle of kirk on which i was testing (/audiably lamenting) the brushes at varous pressure settings.
