He'd gone and boasted to Blaze, but in the end it didn't really matter, since, to his horror, she ended up being right. And there was no way even with Miles's help that he could face up against three hedgehogs, even if one of them had his quills blunted.-

-He hadn't even launched a plan for Solaris's sake, and yet here they were. Invading his ship and taking his belongings. He should've expected that they would do something so underhanded, despite all the work he'd put into what he was doing.-

Indeed! Awful Blaze tried to destroy my lab before I completed him so that he would never see the light of day! Thankfully, Shadow managed to survive her maniacal destruction and now he's still here!

Which means we can convince him to join us and leave Blaze behind. She needs to get a taste of her own medicine!

Unfortunately, Blaze has only fed him more lies about how I was supposedly going to 'replace' you with him, so he sees me as the bad guy. Given that Blaze has spent three years with Shadow, he more readily believes her. But I believe you could fix this if you really tried!

You may notice that your quills are blunted, hedgehog. This is something that I need to do to maintain your health; letting them grow too long would let them impale you!

But this leaves you without an adequate defense. So indeed, I did create Shadow...to protect you. His quills don't grow and his abilities resemble yours because I did use your DNA to create him. It's not as if I have another hedgehog on hand to take from.
