If you really cared, then what about what you did to me?
While Blaze hid the truth from me for a reason, you didn’t have one. You left me blind for three years, too! You threw me out when you didn’t think I would be useful to you, and now that you see an opportunity to get me back, you’re trying to convince me now! Why do you suddenly care? You’ve always met me with hostility until you found out that Sonic had a fondness for me!
Blaze may’ve abused my trust, but seeing how you treat your creations and how Sonic flinches when I yell, MAYBE THAT’S FOR THE BEST! I’ve made up my mind, Eggman! I’m never going to work with you, not when you think you can play with lives like as if they’re toys to you!
Let. Sonic. Go. If you don’t, myself and ‘Chippy’ will destroy this ship!
…
-Sonic couldn’t do anything but stare at the moment. His instincts told him no, he had to obey his master. But… The stacks weighed up against his master. Shadow was a replacement for him, and if he was completed, then something bad could have happened to him. Sonic wasn’t sure what. His mind still blocked out the memories of anything painful ever happening to him… But there was one thing he finally did.
He took a step away from Eggman, closer to Shadow. All this for him? Surely Shadow wouldn’t be so passionate if he was lying.-
… I will help too! I will destroy this place!
-An out right threat towards his master. Sonic had been defiant, but never could he remember ever threatening his master like that.-
-And there we go. Eggman's whole plan just fell through there, and he'd lost not one but two of his pawns, all in one swoop! He'd gone and boasted to Blaze, but in the end it didn't really matter, since, to his horror, she ended up being right. And there was no way even with Miles's help that he could face up against three hedgehogs, even if one of them had his quills blunted.-
Fine! You can take him! Just leave my ship alone!
-He hadn't even launched a plan for Solaris's sake, and yet here they were. Invading his ship and taking his belongings. He should've expected that they would do something so underhanded, despite all the work he'd put into what he was doing.-
