-If anyone was expecting a passionate smack or rough slicking sounds of their lips coming together, they’d be disappointed. Sonic and Shadow came together so naturally, their lips meeting softly, Sonic momentarily freezing in place before he sunk into the kiss. So… It was just the whole kissing thing only not on the cheek and on the lips where it definitely felt a billion times better.
So there they where. Kissing. Sonic purring loudly as he closed his own eyes and finally let his own hands hold onto Shadow, his fingers curling in his fur. So much had happened in just a year, just a year and Sonic had experienced more than he ever did in his fifteen years of being alive. And this was something to add to his experiences, he got a crush and had his first ever kiss. Wow.
Life was so amazing.-
-For several terrifying heartbeats, Shadow worried that he'd come on a bit too strong -- that he should've waited in order to show his affections at their purest form. Thankfully, his fears had been soothed when he felt Sonic pressing back into him, purring loudly and wrapping his arms around him. His heart felt like it would pound out of his chest any minute now, leading him to hold on tighter as if to demand that Sonic protect him, save him from the organ beating out of his body, pressing their chests up together as his ears flattened. This connection... It was so different from all of their others, and yet it was the same, because deep down he knew in that moment that this was merely a manifestation of what had wanted to bubble to the surface for over a year for him. Perhaps less than that for Sonic, but who's counting?
They had to break apart sometime, but Shadow didn't want to be the one to start it. Even with his growing need for oxygen, he wanted to grasp onto this moment. After all his frustration, this was part of what he'd been building up to. He didn't want to let it go when it'd just begun.-
