Dying Is an art, like everything else. I do it exceptionally well. I do it so it feels like hell. I do it so it feels real. I guess you could say I’ve a call.

Aren’t they adorable? I always loved this brief moment on the Trilogy Concert DVD (I attended the original show in 2002, by the way), where The Cure frontman Robert Smith and longtime colleague Simon Gallup share a fleeting smile during the intro to “Pictures of You”. There’s so much genuine friendship, joyful musicianship and lifelong camaraderie compressed in these few frames. I love those guys!
