Messing around with more toony proportions for characters- what do you think?

Am not 100% whether I'll keep this design for Sloane or not, but it sure was fun to draw!

Another character design sketch- this is Leocadia (and her pet, Popchop!) 

She's a paladin whose god no one seems to have heard of. Her god has either a tiny following specific to a small area or she's a one woman cult- haven't decided yet. 

In any case, the main focus in her job as a paladin isn't fighting. She's about helping people in times of need- if you need a town rebuilding after a dragon attack, she's your lady. She and Popchop also tell fortunes, if you'd like to know what your future may hold.

Some design ideas for my cowboy mage character- which do you like best?

I tried to give these designs some variety, but there a few things I kept in all the designs for story reasons. Boone's blood drop tattoo is forcibly given to blood mages as punishment in certain places- such as their home town. Boone's hands are scratched up and scarred from where they've taken blood samples to use in their spells. 

I need to think more about what abilities their magic gives them- healing is what they mainly use it for, but that's not all they can do.

Redesign ideas of an old character.

Theodosia is a tricksy demon who acts as a mentor to newly created demons. She has a warm and friendly personality (she often seems to have a compliment for others) and terrible fashion sense.

Humans who know that she's a hopeless romantic will summon her for romantic advice, but they'd do well to remember that she's a trickster at heart.

Noodling about with an old OC because I wanted to redesign her. Here are two ideas for her.

Ira is a loyal friend who likes baseball and wrestling, but she's rather grumpy. She's a good demon to summon if you need some encouraging words.

Guilluame had awoken completely alone, that morning. Ever since, he'd been searching for his group, crying for his mother. He hadn't found them, nor any other living person, for that matter, yet.

Now the sun was going down. It was time to hide for the night- he'd been warned countless times against staying out in the dark- there were people and war beasts alike who try to harm him as soon as they saw him.

He was sure his situation would look less dire in the morning. Things always seemed more hopeful in the daylight. 

Wanted to draw something different for a change- it's a scene from Guilluame's backstory.

My comic cover is finished! I’ll post the pages as I finish them, though I’ll probably make a post with the whole thing when it’s all done. I’ve been really enjoying working on this, so I hope you’ll like it too!

If you need to summon a demon to exact a dramatic revenge on an enemy, Gula here is absolutely not the demon for you! ...She is very kind and cuddly, though.

This was supposed to just be a warm up doodle, but I got massively carried away, whoops. She's my oldest active character and I recently got a bunch of new ideas about her, so I had a strong wish to draw her.

Haven't been drawing so much this week because I've been unwell, but am starting to get back to feeling more normal, I think. So I will hopefully be able to draw more!

It's 2019 and still drawing cat girls- again, this one was an old character from when I used to write. I haven't drawn her much as she was described- she was a lady with cat ears slapped on, basically- I thought it might be fun to turn her into a literal cat person.  She's based on a type of cat called margay.

A warm up drawing. This is Ashery, a character I had years ago, back when I used to write instead of draw. She was a healer who was somewhat overprotective- though usually calm, she turned ferocious when someone/something attempted to harm or disturb her patients.

I was reading an old story of mine- I think this lady was the best thing in it, so I had the idea to draw her. I’ve kept her about the same as I originally described her. Also, apparently my taste in character designs has not changed much since then??

It's mad science book review time with our own good doctor, Masako Carpenter! I don't think she likes this book...

In other news, Masako has apparently taken over my art muse because all I can think of is drawing ideas involving her. Please help. I'm drawing her again right now.
