Necessity is the mother of invention
With the COVID-19 outbreak, many business have had to change their business model to adapt to the sudden changes that have arisen. Old Fourth Distillery has had to do just that, as many bars and restaurants are not selling as much liquor as before the outbreak. The shortage of hand sanitizer is something Jeff and Craig Moore noticed they could help change with their distillery. At first, the brothers began giving out free sanitizer to neighboring businesses as well as the heavily populated homeless community in the area, but quickly realized they had to turn this into a business for now when orders from FEMA and other out-of-state businesses began to roll in.
