med school anon are you there. or indeed anyone who has been to med school (uk). i am mentoring someone with an upcoming med school interview and i don’t know how to help them are there any resources you recommend 🗣️🗣️

#currently trying to cancel the data recovery company's dhl pickup of my murdered phone because who am i kidding the 'waterproof' pouch #manufacturer will not pay for the recovery of my photos despite it being their fault i am out a phone and six months of photo memories #and you cant do that without a dhl+ account which you cant get without speaking to a customer advisor (response time: 1 day) and setting up #a shipping account even if you do not ever intend to ship anything with dhl. quoted £900-1900 for the data recovery btw. WITHOUT VAT #this after i just spent my entire evening after having FINALLY after SEVENTEEN DAYS triangle ported my number back to my phone im dealing #with a new and worse phenomenon of my dad receiving texts sent to my number for some fucking reason. this apparently being that because #i used his old phone to triangle port my number and now it's just saved to his apple account forever now which is good and normal #of course all this after the inability to pay for anything with any of my cards or log into any accounts including ones at work because mfa #whether it uses a phone number or an authenticator app makes it IMPOSSIBLE to make ESSENTIAL like TRULY essential transactions and payments #if you don't have access to one (1) mobile phone and it has to be YOUR mobile phone so if you dont have a relative or friend willing to pay #for such things as Oh i dont know. legally required car tax. you can just get absolutely fucked

i feel so crazy watching you people have a lovely time (im also having a lovely time) because if this ever happened to my guy he would be proper ugly crying as fuck and i would need to be attached to him like a clip on tv microphone getting to watch him snort snot and snivel from somewhere under his chin for at LEAST six hours
