When radiologists take a selfie
Wait I’ve seen this
I’ve always had a strong fascinating for the anatomy of humans and animals.
Both dead and alive, inside and outside. By looking at the inside, it makes me feel like we are all the same and part of a bigger whole.
So much beauty can be found in things least expected. You just have to look a little harder sometimes. I don’t feel scared or disgusted by it. After all, how can you feel disgusted about your own body? I see so much beauty in all these shapes, textures and colours.
When I skinned my dog after he passed away, I didn’t experience disgust or guilt doing this. On the contrary; instead of feeling sick in the stomach, I was in awe and felt so much love for this creature, for he was even at this moment, still so beautiful.
I hope through these photos of my dog’s inner parts, you can see the beauty that I see, too.
A bodies exhibit of the nervous system.
