Chest tattoo that says I Need You To Realize That You Cannot Go Back To Childhood. And Then I Need You To Cry Harder Than You Ever Have Before.
You cannot make everyone think and feel as deeply as you do. This is your tragedy … because you understand them, and they do not understand you.
Daniel Saint
Having a traumatic childhood means you cannot talk even objectively about your basic foundational experiences without it being "venting", even if you're not actually venting. You just straight up have a huge chunk of your life you can't talk about, full stop, without it being trauma dumping.
And it not being socially acceptable to talk about your own childhood is super alienating. Sometimes people want to know why, and any answer you can give them is going to be off putting.
It's to the point I get irritated when something I said is framed as venting when I'm literally just talking about my life experiences, doing my best to keep emotion out of it.

its kind of scary not knowing all the stories your body went through
they should invent a desire to be desired that doesnt just make you feel humilated and guilty
oh look at me wanting to be both made useful and considered something worth wanting. like some kind of idiot
“BUYER-PERPETUATED TRAFFICKING:
CHILD IS BEING TRAFFICKED BUT DOES NOT HAVE A TRAFFICKER. INSTEAD, THE BUYER IS DIRECTLY EXPLOITING THE CHILD’S VULNERABILITIES BY OFFERING MONEY, FOOD AND / OR SHELTER IN EXCHANGE FOR THE SEXUAL EXPLOITATION.”
{ Words by Megan Fernandes, from "Fabric in Tribeca," in Good Boys / Silas Melvin, from "Twenty," Grit }
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE; BETWEEN BEING LONELY & BEING ALONE.
