Sakura had been busy at the hospital night after night and it was safe to say that by the time she came home, she usually collapsed from exhaustion. Many Ninja’s had been coming in and out of battle or from missions and arriving at the gates on deaths door. While things were beginning to slow down, the Medic Nin knew that it was time for a little break before she started making mistakes that she wouldn’t be able to fix. She was only human after all. Deciding to make a trip to her best friends home, she snuck in and gently placed a tiny hand against the others arm.
“Ino..? Wake up!”

Help a sister out?
"Mama!" Sarada smiled, handing her mother a gift, "Happy birthday!"
The gift Sakura could ever want was to be with her daughter on this special day. A sweet smile gracing her lips as she brought the other into her arms and held her closely before closing her eyes and savouring the tender moment.
Things had been tough raising Sarada with Sasuke gone a lot of the time but she knew that they would always be a family and that meant more to her than anybody could ever know.
”Thank you, sweetie.”Â
“Don’t look at me like that.”
The look she gave him was one that he wasn’t going to be happy of and sure enough, he wasn’t. How could she not look like that when he had just told her that they were going to Ichiraku for ramen.
“You may as well live there, Naruto!”
“Are you even listening to me?”
A lot of the time they weren’t and even though she felt bad and almost disrespectful to their teacher, he was always late so it was almost like their own little payback. As Sai and Naruto bickered away in the background, she continued to read up on a medical book she had borrowed from Tsunade.
“Yes yes yes, Sensei,” she spoke distractedly with a wave of her hand, “carry on!”
“That will never work on me.”
Genjutsu didn’t have any effect on him? Damn. She felt panic overcome her at the situation at hand--she had never encountered someone who was able to get the best of such an ability but it seemed like today was that day. She needed to relax though. A Kunoichi should never loose her cool especially at a time like this. Eyeing his gun suspiciously, she took a small step back to re-evaluate the situation at hand.
“How did you know?”
“Right. You are so smart, Sakura-chan!”
“You better not be being sarcastic, Naruto!”
It was way too early in the morning to tell what kind of mood he was in. Nevertheless, she chose to run along with the compliment anyway. “Of course I’m smart--I’m the one who keeps you in line.” A smirk was shot his way and she was waiting for his retaliation any minute now.

Colliding with anyone was such a rarity, that Jack’s being almost seemed to reject it; the snow-haired spirit stumbling back a couple of steps in his surprise. Blue eyes were widened with his shock, lips parted as he stared at the pink haired girl before him; still so flabbergasted that he chanced a look around them, almost certain that she couldn’t possibly be speaking to him.
“I— I’m…” Voice trailed off as he attempted to gather his bearings; clearing his throat once - twice - before simply nodding. ( A little too shakily. ) “ Yes, I’m… fine.”
Lips pursed, dark brows furrowing before tilting his head a fraction. “…. You can see me?”
The male seemed a little too shaken to be normal and she began to have her suspicions about him as she stared at him, eyebrow cocked. Upon hearing his question, she gasped wondering if she wasn’t meant to and should she not have... why should she not be able to see him? It didn’t make any sense but she chose not to question it as of yet. He seemed a little uneasy to be answering such questions right now.
“Am I not supposed to?”
Her question was rhetorical as she folded her arms over her chest and tilted her head to the side. “As long as you’re okay, that’s the main thing.”
Girl’s Day Out
uchihaheiress :
“A girl’s day out?” Sarada cocked her head in confusion, “So like shopping, manicures, and girly stuff?” She sighed again, this time more quiet. The young girl sat up, “Gee, I don’t know…”
Then, Sarada looked up at her mother. She was smiling, she really wanted to do this. Maybe her mother needed a distraction from Sasuke leaving for another mission too? She couldn’t imagine how hard it must be for Sakura to have to see her love leave for such long periods of time. How she did it for the seven years he was gone, she’d never know. Sarada had to admit, her mother was strong as hell for that.Â
“Okay, fine.” She put her book down on the end table next to the sofa, “But I don’t want a pedicure or anything like that. You know how I hate it when people touch my feet…” Sarada stood up with a smile on her face.
“Deal?”Â
At first the Kunoichi thought her Daughter was going to decline the offer but as soon as she said yes, a bright smile overcame the Mother’s face and she clapped her hands together to show her delight. “That’s the spirit! I think it will be fun to spend some quality time together and do stuff for ourselves. We haven’t done that in so long and we’re both doing nothing today so why not?”
A giggle escaped her when she heard Sarada’s protests and she nodded her head, “I know, I know. Maybe we’ll just go for the fingernails then. That will be alright, won’t it?” It had been a while since Sakura had pampered herself and felt girly.
“Go and get your coat as it’s still cold outside.”
Running a hand through pink short locks, she gazed outside wishing that Sasuke could be home so they could spend some quality time together as a family but she knew it was wishful thinking so she soon put the thought to the back of her mind.

curious amethyst eyes land on such an intriguing figure. pink hair, she’d definitely curious about the pink hair that lines the other’s head. head cocks to the side, an assessing look crossing pale countenance at the sight she had been granted.Â
     ❛ do i know you ? ❜
The other looked rather perplexed to be called out in such a manner and Sakura couldn’t blame her, she had come on rather strong. Steeping back a little, she raised her hand in an apologetic manner.
“Sorry. I’m Haruno Sakura. I have heard much about your clan.”

Lars had come to appreciate solo walks along night streets. Save for the crickets, it was quiet and serene, allowing him to collect his thoughts without the need to hold conversation.
This reflecting stroll however, had been suddenly interrupted upon the collision of a young woman into his tall frame. While his jacket was made of a thicker material, he could still feel the heat emanating from the coffee that had splashed up onto him from her cup.
Lars shook off his sleeve, gaze lifting onto the girl now apologizing for her mistake, equally as stunned, “…It’s…fine—” He took a second inspection of his attire, “I think it’ll come out with some scrubbing?”
“That still doesn’t excuse me being a klutz,” she murmured wishing that she had been paying more attention to the world around her instead of being far away in dream land. Perhaps things like this wouldn’t happen then.
With her coffee cup now drained, she inwardly groaned knowing that she wouldn’t be able to survive her eight hour shift without some sort of caffeine in her system, there had to be another coffee shop around here somewhere.
Canting her head to the side, she noticed a small place and an idea formed. “Allow me to buy you a drink for my clumsiness! My shift at the hospital doesn’t start for a while yet anyway. Care to join me?”

Seeing a medic at work was always a sight to behold. Muscles connecting, bones being mended, skin stretching until not the lightest scar remained visible. To civilians most jutsu seemed akin to magic. To him, Sasuke thought, medical jutsu might be the most magical of all. It was life in the palm of a hand. Not death, for once.
He smiled slightly, nodded in response. Yeah, it was him. Hair a bit longer, shoulders a bit wider but still him. They hadn’t seen each other in a while so it was only natural that their appearances had changed to a certain extent. Sakura herself had matured as well, he noticed.
“Can you heal yourself fully?” While he wasn’t knowledgeable in the feld, Orochimaru had taught him a thing or two back in the day. Among others that such jutsu was quite tiring, especially if used on one’s self. He didn’t understand why though.
Remembering something, he reached for his pouch and pulled out a bottle of water. He offered it to her soundlessly. Who knew how long she’d been lying there?Â
“Sakura…” His eyebrows furrowed. “Who did this to you?”
A small sigh escaped her as her body became exhausted once more and she winced slightly when she realised that she needed to rest. Hearing his words, she shook her head soundlessly and pursed her lips together. It wouldn’t be possible to heal herself fully after the damage that had been done to her.
“I can’t. I can heal myself enough to get back to the hospital though.”
Taking the water bottle from his grasp, she took a few small sips to quench her thirst, the cold liquid soothing her dried throat as she closed her eyes for a moment and tried to remember how she had gotten into this state in the first place.
The throbbing in her head began and she reached a shaking hand to press against her forehead before wincing. “I don’t know. I can’t remember. I was on my way home and these rogue ninja’s just jumped out before I could even defend myself.”
She cursed inwardly to herself feeling so weak for not being able to stand up against them. That was the last thing she needed right now.

A smile crossed Sai’s lips, he’d read it was a good way to remove tension and ease anxious moods. “Don’t worry, Sakura. I know it may not look it, but I’m pretty strong. I’ll get us out of here, just quit worrying and trust me.”
His words were an obvious choice, trust was something she had always stressed when he was a new member of his team and skeptical to trust. He was hoping that this show would at least let him do his work as a member of this team and make sure she’s not too worked up to do hers.
Despite their rocky start, she did trust him. She had to. He had been part of her team for a long time now and even though she was screaming at him to not let her die, she knew better than he did that he wouldn’t let her down. She had a lot of faith in him.
“Just because you don’t look strong, I do believe that you are.” She couldn’t help herself with the jab. She knew she should have kept her mouth shut but he left himself wide open. A bit of teasing here and there always helped Team Seven get along swimmingly.

    ❛ I HAVE A CURE FOR THAT —–
here, try this, yeah? any time i have a problem sleepin`i’ll just eat           some rice balls an`BOOM. presto! your eyes’ll be shut in no time! ❜
“Riceballs help you sleep? What kinda remedy is that?” Even though she was slightly unsure, she couldn’t help but be slightly intrigued by the male.
“I mean, I keep my eyes open because I need to stay alert but if I have trouble sleeping then I’ll definitely give that a try!”
"Sakura-chan, how you have grown!" Was this really the same girl that opened the earth those years ago? The years had been kind, her chakra even kinder as he eyed the seal on her forehead. "What have you been up to?" //Hi! I hope this is okay!
“Ero-Sen--” !!!
NO SAKURA. That’s what Naruto calls him and you don’t stoop down to his level. “Jiraiya!” A sweet smile soon graced her lips to take away the shock of what she had nearly just said. Clearing her throat slightly, she tried to cover it up that she had made no mistake at all and gave him a nervous chuckle before tucking some rosy locks behind her ear and canting her head to the side.
“I’ve been training with Tsunade-Shishou mostly, I thought I would have seen you around more. How have you been? Do you see Naruto as often anymore?”
Girl’s Day Out
uchihaheiress :
The thirteen year old sighed loudly, for what seemed like the millionth time that day since her father had left yet again for another mission. Ever since the “who’s my real mother” incident, Sasuke had told the Seventh that he no longer wanted to do missions that lasted that long, realizing that being away from home for 10+ years ended up putting Sarada’s life on the line. Instead of being gone for years, he would be away for 3-5 months at a time.Â
Supposedly, this mission was supposed to last for 5 months.Â
It seemed like Sasuke had just come home from his last mission, and that he was gone in a blink of an eye.Â
Sarada was laying on the sofa, unable to focus on her book, the infamous Uchiha pout on her lips.Â
It was hard watching her only child down about such things. Such was the way of a ninja when one had to leave for months at a time. She didn’t like seeing Sasuke leave either but a lot of things had happened and she knew it helped him reflect on certain incidents yet she could understand how disheartening it would be for the little girl. Especially that Boruto was finally able to get along with his own Father.Â
Sakura wished there was something she could do--anything to help her daughter through it all but she was struggling herself. She watched all her friends around her with their own little families and she’d be lying if she said she didn’t year for it herself.
Sitting on the edge of the sofa, she pressed a gentle hand atop of the dark hair and admired her for a moment. She certainly had her Father’s genes that much was for sure, she truly was a beautiful little thing and the Kunoichi couldn’t help but feel the proud emotion well up inside her.
“How about you and I go and have a girls day out, hm?”
