Abbot's six year daughter gets hurt and is brought to the pitt by her teacher inconsolable , hurt and scared and only wants her mikey who works there . The day shift docs try to find mikey but are unable to .however Robby rushes seeing abbots daughter on the board, worried out of his mind about his sunshine and only when he picks her up and talks to her she calms down, much to the surprise of the other docs .
Abbot rushes to the pitt after a phone call from school , sees robby with his baby fast asleep on his chest .robby being absolutely still so the kid remains sleeping even though he has million other things to do as chief ,. realises robby has been a co parent and partner for so long and is unable to stop himself from confessing his love . They get together and live happily ever after with their little girl
