murder degrees refer to the “gravity” of a murder

it goes from “worst” to “less worse”

1st degree murder is premeditated , making it the “worst”

2nd degree murder is not premeditated and in most states is basically every other case except 1st grade

3rd degree murder is only accepted as a term in some states (including minnesota) and is basically causing a death “indirectly” with no intention to kill. tho minnesota defines third degree murder as “depraved-heart murder”, meaning that the killer knew that the action was dangerous/potentially fatal but didn’t mean to kill the victim

speaking as an american, this is very accurate. george floyd’s killer should be charged with second degree at the least, but i’ve heard some sources claim they’re going with third to ensure that he is prosecuted.

Third degree is guaranteed to be found guilty, second degree would be too controversial (although I believe that the cop should have realized something was up when george floyd passed out from lack of oxygen so I think it should be second degree). I also believe the other cops who were there/helped out should be tried as accessories to murder.

hi, law student here! thought id give my 2 cents on the whole why dies andrew support J*. the reason for that is almost for sure because if the conspiracy collaboration which was as much shane as it was Andrew, as his name/brand was also part of it. often companies will add clauses which state that they basically have to support the person/no difamation. furthermore there is the whole previously mentioned shane being andrew's employer, so of course andrew has his hands tied in this situation!

Remember in the Shane's exposing my cameraman they were talking about his dating life and Andrew made it clear he wasn't trying, but if it happened he wouldn't be opposed.
