wip, a few emre portraits !

after finishing freja"s i wanted to try and painting some for emre as well, both of their sets are based on their redesigns i started a while ago. I hope we learn more about what happened to emre at some point, the whole chernobog thing is still pretty mysterious!

wip, emre sketches with slight design changes!

Another light redesign thing, for emre this time. Didn't have as many pet peeves with his design as i had with freja's. I initially thought it was too busy, but painting this, i realized it's hard to make something feel biomechanical without it being visually busy.

The main thing is that i'd want him to look older, i wouldn't mind him looking older than he actually is, considering he went through so much. With more apparent scars, since he used to be an renowned overwatch agent.

Tried to make chernobog feel more like a parasite by making it less symmetrical, and having it covering emre's heart. Also 'it' having control over the scarf and interacting with emre through it would be so cool, like the way we see in the cinematic! If i remember well one of his arms is still mostly flesh, so chernobog having to physically fight emre everytimes it wants to fully take over would also be interesting.

wip, more sketches of a small freja redesign!

a very early wip, i'm not good at lineart so i wanna try and dodge it for as long as i can haha, i'm not a fan of freja's design ingame, it doesn't really feel like a nordic bounty hunter one to me. it's a shame they added the fur and snowflake imagery alongside yet another pretty faced character with an unnecessary chest window.

it's a really minor design tweak, i'm aware it's still a very basic one, but it would be fun to try and paint it the ow1 way, i'm curious about what it'd look like. (also i do plan to make one for emre, as well as past/present portraits for him too!)

A Life to Grow Old With You.

Agent Freja Skov & Gefn.

finally finished the freja portraits, tried changing bits of her design on the lastest one, consistency isn't my forte so it might change again if i ever decide to draw a fullbody for her, i'm experimenting along the way haha!

I do want to make some for emre as well, eventually!

haven't drawn much lately so here's my attempt to get back to it. it's a bit wonky but i wanted to draw more for freja. I really love her gameplay she's really cool, i do wish her design was less 'safe' and showed a bit more of her story...

(i didn't forget the freckles, i'll try to fix the proportions before getting to it hehe!)

A little Freja redraw 🏹

Started playing overwatch again and her character is so much fun to play, love her interactions ingame and how Emre crashing back into her life showed us a different part of her personnality. I do wish her charadesign showed more of her 'bounty hunter' side, i might try my hand at designing a different outfit for her someday !

Most of my pieces are available on my inprnt, and the clea one is there too.

Super grateful to anyone who got a print so far, i'm still struggling with finding a stable job, so this type of support actually means a lot!

I got to paint a little scene with Gustave and Maelle for @imaakiraa I love reading about what their lives and relationship could have looked like before the events of the game, i love found family stories, their bond and bickering were really precious to me, i miss them greatly...

A few more Alicia sketches !

Painted an older version of her back in december and i wanted to try and paint her scars once again. It's not entirely accurate, but i do want to get better at drawing them. I always assumed she lost her eye during the fire but i was told she could've also had it removed afterwards, I like the idea of her having a glass eye and a pirate eyepatch. She'd look cool in one, despite it all.

Her character is so precious to me, i hope she still finds joy in the life she said she didn't want. She deserves to be happy and make her own choices, like Clea said.
