ok but where were you all when old man jenkins was victimized by the rampant ageism endemic to bikini bottom
ok but honestly why are you defending someone as problematic as old man jenkins he has literally changed his race multiple times (receipts http://spongebob.wikia.com/wiki/Old_Man_Jenkins) to satisfy his fetishization of fish of color so get your priorities straight next time.
Michael, I never said old man jenkins wasn’t problematic, and yes I agree his actions have been harmful to the FoC community, but how can you just dismiss the fact that he’s a victim of the ageism not only enacted by these fish (who framed him, without any probable cause, and extrajudicially punished him for threats to “kick [Spongebob’s] butt” that he didn’t even make) but within the entire social structure of bikini bottom? Are you forgetting when they explored just how bluntly and actively the Bikini Bottom mass media shamed the mere idea of getting older? remember how they illustrated the physical and psychological toll that took on bikini bottom citizens who were barely reaching middle age, like Mr. Krabs?
or how even once-treasured citizens of bikini bottom, like Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, are simply discarded in their old age? How the Shady Shoals retirement home was such a substandard living space basic amenities like television were hard to come by? How little empathy the Shady Shoals staff had when Mermaid Man’s constant, frenzied screaming of “EVIL!!!” was a clearly exhibited symptom of PTSD?
Old Man Jenkins is no saint, I’ll admit that, but he’s been the victim of a much larger problem within the Bikini Bottom community. His story, and those like it, deserve to be told until a change is finally brought to the sea.
me: it’s ok I’m not mad me 5 mins later: actually? You can go to hell
I’m not having babies until I’m super comfortable in my financial and love life. I will NOT be at home breast feeding and stressing while my man is out doing him. Never.

Abusive men come in every personality type, arise from good childhoods and bad ones, are macho men or gentle, “liberated” men. No psychological test can distinguish an abusive man from a respectful one. Abusiveness is not a product of a man’s emotional injuries or of deficits in his skills. In reality, abuse springs from a man’s early cultural training, his key male role models, and his peer influences. In other words, abuse is a problem of values, not of psychology.

no one is ever too busy for you. that’s a lie. you make time for what you want
this isn’t true sometimes living is just so fucking exhausting that you know if you go spend time with someone you’re just going to end up wanting to leave the whole time and honestly does anyone really want to spend time with someone who doesn’t even want to be there? the answer is no
I have worked two jobs (at one point three) since I was 17, have a dog, bills, and have worked upwards to 70-80 hour weeks at some point. But you can bet your ass no matter how exhausted and tired I was, I made time for the people who mattered in my life. When some people I knew didn’t even work 20 hours a week ( weren’t in school at the time) and were “always busy”. Which proves the point of the original post, you make time for what you want.
just an observation dude. not directed toward you, which is why I posted it to my blog rather than sending you a message about it.
I don't think it was fair to say "no one is too busy" because how are you going to speak for other people. not everyone is in the same mental state you are. not everyone puts as much weight on making time for others as you do. also I think that type of thinking is good for nothing but making certain people feel unworthy of someone's time.
It's a comment on a post that I thought was really dumb and possibly harmful.
