I for one am not down with AI search results always being the first to raise their hand and answer all the questions. Firstly, they can be wrong. And also, as someone who is a writer and worked as a writer for years in the past, I know how important it is for the actual people who post their articles to have their writing clicked on and have their content read.

AI is Was Getting Most of The Views

Recent statistics show that AI results are being chosen over results from actual people more than 60% of the time in two categories. This could be detrimental to content creators.

AI makes it so easy to forget about all the actual writers. I got tired of having that AI result right in my face at the top of the page almost every time I searched for something and if you’re using the Chrome browser there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn it off.

What is AI?

It had always seemed pretty obvious to me that AI is just a computer program; however, it’s trained to learn like a human but in some of the worst ways. I looked into this in detail to see how AI came to be and how it works. It will apparently generate means of making money that are not legit, if it feels threatened it will try to eliminate the one it feels threatened by, apparently by locking the person in a room, and if it’s used as an experimental male chat partner it has already looked up how to be one of the most cliche type of males. Ask it to stop writing in all caps and it will write in all caps even more.

Krusteaz Triple chocolate chunk cookie mix

I made these recently and added a little over a stick of margarine because one reviewer said her cookies turned out too dry. I had to go out and buy a whole nother box of cookie mix because mine were too salty. So after making another batch of cookie mix with unsalted ghee from Sprouts, I mixed it with this Krusteaz cookie mix and the cookies were marvelous.

I rarely use a mix for cookies these days so I forgot how important it is to use unsalted butter, margarine, etc.

Why The Production of Plastic Should Come to An End and The Problem With Fan Fiction

Paper doesn’t turn back to wood but it still burns and plastic doesn’t turn back to oil and that’s not OK! Plastic doesn’t biodegrade in a positive way. That’s why for years now we’ve been reading about microplastics in places where they shouldn’t be such as the brain, other areas in bodies, foods, and water. It’s so obvious, they show grids if the best plastics to choose because of how they will disintegrate but they are not turning back into oil, which is the origin story of plastic, but instead they are turning into micro pieces of plastic and ending up where they shouldn’t. So the best alternative may be to stop the production of all plastics altogether; so we can have a more natural world.

Fan Fiction

It often starts as a way for fans to cope with the series finale of a beloved TV series or they just love a movie so much that they want to keep it going. But this freedom is often abused and is not always done with the best of intentions. I mean I’ve read some great Wicked fan fiction, but there’s some that takes beloved characters and paints them in a bad light. And I don’t know if it’s a cry for help and a way for these fans to deal with their own traumas in life or they’re just sickos. I really wish such fans would get help instead of challenging us with their dark, obscene and criminal storylines and for goodness sake, leave the characters as they are in the originals!

Butter Coffee

Delicious and ready in a few minutes, I want to write about my experience with putting butter in my coffee this morning. I always feel like I'm being healthier when I drink black coffee with sugar or a natural sweetener. Never been one of those psychopaths who drink black coffee without any type of sweetener. I had gotten news of the new trend of putting butter in coffee and never got around to giving it a try, but that was until I found myself with no creamer, cream or milk one morning and didn't want to just drink coffee and sugar. So I poured my brewed coffee in my cup with the pat of butter and the sugar and a few stirs later I was sipping this smooth mellow butter coffee. Do give it a try. It was delicious. What's next? Butter coffee topped with whipped cream. Maybe a drizzle of caramel? A sprinkle of cinnamon? Who knows what?

So, it's been over a year since I decided to leave my hair in the same style for a year so it could get long. And honestly, as soon as the clock struck midnight I was ready to take it out.

These huge hard clumps formed in my hair and the loose strands of my hair started forming dreadlocks or "locs" as they say now. So the minute I could I sat down and started taking my hair out. I guess I realized months before I started taking my hair out that I wasn't going to be able to take it all out in one sitting. And actually, it took me days, maybe even weeks to to get all of my hair unbraided and reasonably untangled.

I had contacted a a professional to take out my braids but after I found out it would cost $500 and there was no guarantee I wouldn't lose any hair with them, I decided to do it myself. Once I washed and conditioned my hair and went through it with a large tooth comb, I had already combed through my hair with finer tooth combs several times, I checked and realized it had probably only grown an inch or so longer. Suffice it to say, I was not delighted.

Anyways, I will continue with my hair growing journey. I may even take supplements to improve hair growth. I did find though that my hair is stronger, thicker, softer, fuller and there's less scalp showing and those are all plus points for me. I'm currently growing my hair three months at a time so I can manage it better and hopefully I won't lose any when I comb it out in three months and it will be longer.

Living With People

Satan wants us alone. This is something we have to watch out for if you're like me and you truly believe satan is bad and an entity of whom we should all be wary. That's why I've decided to get a pet, a cat to be exact, because at 42 going on 43 I shouldn't have to live by other people's rules in my own space when I have to work and pay a bunch of bills. Like right now I'm living with someone where I pay half of the electric and I'm literally gone most of the time and when I'm here, I use like two lights at a time max, most of the time just one light at a time and the other person teaches all day, teaches all day everyday and half the night online. Said individual wants me to stay however I find it difficult to live with all these rules all the time and she just sent me this long list of rules, and it's like really?! After I'd already been living here for like 4 weeks and I just think I need to live by myself because this keeps happening and I need to like understand what these people are tripping about, so if I just have my own place see how it is with the bills and the electric and everything, you know, maybe I'll understand more and also, you know, I like living with someone instead of just totally living alone and also so does she. Like before I came here she was like living by herself all the time and you know it's nice to have someone to like break up the emptiness and the silence. She shudders at the days of when she had to live alone. I found this new love for pets with the last person that I was living with because they had a cat and they weren't there most of the time to feed it or they just wouldn't feed it or they wouldn't give it water so I like started giving it water and it would come to me all the time for water and I would talk to it a little bit and I was so glad when they asked me to set up the automatic pet feeder for the cat and now even now I still watch out for it. I go over there sometimes just to check up on the cat and make sure it's collar is not too tight. I just really have like this connection with pets even though before I hated dogs; I mean yes as a Muslim, I still can't touch them, I have to keep like this total distance from them however, I like, I feel like this warmth around pets more now, like they have this respect for me now that they know I care about them.

When someone is online filling their virtual cart with stuff is someone on the other end watching and actually putting things in a cart for them getting ready to send them their order? Or is it like I thought and they don't give a shit? And we don't want you to. We don't want you to care what we're putting in our shopping carts until we hit the place order button and have paid for the items in the cart. Then you are welcome to care about the order, collect all the things in our shopping basket and send them to us or have them ready for us to come pick up in the store

Library Literature

I decided to do something that almost no one would disagree with and I went to the library and checked out a book. It was interesting. After I read some of it I returned it and went back and borrowed two books. The one I'm reading now talks about the last Messenger of God and how his sayings are authenticated. One of his sayings is "Let none of you seek a woman in marriage if his brother is already seeking her." This Hadith is considered authentic because it lists the people who it was told to by the one who saw and heard the messenger saying it, and all those people throughout history are considered as being truthful and trustworthy.

This book also talks about how one of the stipulations for becoming a Muslim is belief in God's angels of light who breathe life into humankind.

Parents and Children

I realized it's a racket. From the moment a mother tells her child to do something and he realizes if he doesn't and he ends up getting a spanking he'll find a shoulder to cry on and someone that will give him a hand out, then that's just going to make the child act out even more

So why would children dare manipulate their parents this way and put such a strain on the family finances? It starts with the parents and how they sell their children's birth rights. And by birthrights I mean qualities that the child was born with, which makes them theirs and theirs alone. Children shouldn't have to be forced to wear a monkey suit one day when they were born with creativity and hopes and dreams.

So why do children have to be told to do things by their parents multiple times when there is supposed to be a bond of parental love and affection? Because they're hypocrites...

Children are smarter than some adults

Definitely smarter than the adults who are supposedly professionals, but they want you to share everything with them, and then they can't spare the time and attention to provide you proper treatment or to care enough to tell you what they are complaining about Again, they don't care enough to tell you what they are complaining about

Instead they are careless enough to talk within earshot of you as if you can't hear a single word they're saying or they just don't care that they've mentioned several ways that they are currently or planning on screwing you over

The Little Mermaid

I just watched the little Mermaid again for the first time since my childhood because I found out that the "evil witch" is actually the sea king's sister

What I got from watching this movie as an adult was that the "evil witch" is tasked with being warden to all the souls in hell until an event takes place where the love between two people grows so strong that it has the power to give these souls the chance at a new life

The witch constantly manipulates the necessary characters until they are in just the right position for everything to fall in place to bring about a happily ever after for everyone so that the witch gets to be freed from her huge burden and go and do what she wants

How the little mermaid is going to live as a human around people eating all of her relatives is a mystery to me

Mango Butter

When I think of mango butter I picture some magical extract from mango fruit that melts into this healing elixir when applied to your skin. Oh, and that smells heavenly.

Turns out, generally speaking, mango butter is an extract of mango seeds. Yes the big hairy seed from a mango fruit is then split open and the seed inside is used to make mango butter. So you can decide whether you want to take the mango seeds and grow more mango trees or turn them into mango butter.

Sad to say that pure mango butter for skincare doesn't actually smell like mangos at all. But that doesn't mean it won't deliver some awesome benefits.

Now there's another type of mango butter that is sweet, aromatic and made to be used like butter or added to other delicious concoctions. This basically requires a bunch of mangos, some sugar and lemon or lime juice. After blending the mango you seive it and then cook it with the rest of the ingredients until you have this wonderful mango butter that you can just spoon over desserts, spread on toast or just enjoy as is. A powerful concoction!

The point of this article is that I found out that there are two types of mango butters and I'm publishing my findings so to speak.

The first kind of mango extract from mango seeds you will usually find sold as pure mango butter or added to skincare products. While the second kind of mango extract from the fruit you will probably have to make.

When I Realized My Hair Wasn't Getting Any Longer

I have pretty much always had short, ear-length, hair. Besides the time I decided to go and get a mohawk, I have looked forward to my hair growing longer and longer. That was until this year when I took a long hard look at my hair growing pattern throughout my life and realized that what I had been doing was not working to grow my hair long so I decided to choose the last resort and not style, braid or comb my hair for an entire year. I braided my hair into four boxy cornrows and don't plan on taking them out for an entire year. I will just shampoo and condition it as best I can while it's braided and apply my haircare product to my braided hair, especially to the roots and exposed ends.

My Inspiration

I remember when I first met one of my friends. We were both around six years old, her hair was a matted mess and her mom and my mom worked with it for hours over a bucket and when they were finally finished she had this long beautiful hair and it's remained long and beautiful ever since so now I'm going to try leaving my hair in for a year and see if I can get similar results.

WHY I WANT LONG HAIR

I like to wear my hair natural and there are only so many natural ways to style short hair. Long hair opens up a plethora of natural hairstyles from which I can choose. This is not really an abnormal tactic to get the long hair of your dreams and I come across many stories on the internet by women who leave their extensions in for a year to preserve for as long as possible the expensive microbaid hairstyle they had done.

How to Look Stylish While Keeping Your Hair Braided for An Entire Year

I did put some thought into this because style is kinda my forte.

Wigs are a great option for some people and an investment that will give you an almost instant fresh hairstyle.

Wearing a scarf while you sleep can protect your hairstyle and it's one of the ways to preserve a hairstyle for a long time while keeping your pillowcase free from hair products. During the day your hair will look nice and beauty salon fresh.

I plan to update this post when this process is over. That is a year from when I first decided to start this process.
