Wolfenstein: The New Order
So I recently bought Wolfenstein: The New Order. Can I say how shocked I am that I love this game?
After the self-titled Wolfenstein game on the PS3, I had really high hopes for this game. Though at the same time in the back of my mind I knew this game could very easily be just as bad. But I'm glad I was wrong! So far this game is great. It's a narrative driven FPS which has awesome graphics and so far, a great story. The controls are tight and responsive which gives you a lot of control like peeking around corners and such.
I'm barely through the second chapter but I've already played about 3-4 hours. The maps are a good size and finding collectibles and secret locations makes exploring fun. Games that put that element in make the reply value last longer in my opinion. Another game that has this that I can think of off the top of my head is Uncharted which is an AWESOME game/series and I can't wait for the fourth one!
I'll keep this little review simple. If you don't have this game, get it. If you like FPS games, get it. If you like sneaking around Nazi castles or just going in mowing down Nazi soldiers guns blazing, get it.
I will also say this... If you have a PS4 or Xbox One, get it for the newer console. This will allow you to play it with the best experience over all. Full 60fps and higher texture graphics and so on. But if not still get it. You won't be sorry.
