I’m so glad I got that pre-nuptial agreement before marrying Roderich again.

Divorcing Roderich has been the bane of my existence this year, on top of everything else going on.

ooc: it’s been fucking forever, but yeah. Here’s an update.

Rod and E have been married for over a year and haven’t killed each other. They are slowly working through their issues.

It’s been over a year since I finished chemo and I am still cancer free. However, I did break my ankle lmaoo

Moved into my own apartment and have been slowly getting better with each month.

I hope everyone is doing okay and that we are all keeping safe from the pandemic and staying safe if you are going to the protests.

ooc: Where I’ve Been and This Blog

So, in no surprise to anyone, I’ve been sick and haven’t really felt like doing replies or answering asks. On top of being sick, I’ve also had several large projects due for college and needed to allocate time to those.

As for this blog, even though I am extremely sad to have lost my rp partner, I don’t want to make a rash decision and just up and abandon this blog. I am quite attached to Erzsi. That being said…..

I do still consider Roderich and Erzsi to be in a relationship.

There is a very small, almost non-existent chance of Rosen coming back to Tumblr. But, I am not going to just drop everything because of that, I am not that kind of rp partner.

I will also not be multishipping.

Sorry, it’s just not me and I can’t see myself shipping Erzsi with anyone but Roderich right now. So, please stop sending my anon asks about shipping with her.

Dear Magdalena,

You are my dearest friend in the whole wide world and I don’t feel like I tell you enough! I appreciate your constant companionship, wise advice, and your ‘don’t fuck with me’ attitude. You are never afraid to tell me what you think or speak your mind around me. Even when it’s about my relationships. 

And while we may not see eye-to-eye on everything (mostly Roderich), your opinion is always wanted and needed because I can be far too headstrong for my own good. You help me see the bigger picture to keep me level-headed even when I am out for blood. Thank you for that. I would probably far worse off if it wasn’t for you.

Oh to be a gremlin child again. Covered in grass stains and grazes, hair unbrushed with daisies in the knots, no concept of my own physicality, half way up a tree and eating an apple around my missing tooth. To be unabashedly ugly, to be unashamedly hungry, to be healthy and hearty and lean and covered in bruises and full of love and sun warmed strawberries. To feel time stretch forever, only flying when I fall into books. To love summer once more, and her insects and sweat.

“Yes, that’s what it means. Worth it, absolutely.” It was really something special to be like this with her. It was a moment of such intimacy, without it being overbearing.  A moment he only ever afforded himself with her. To be this comfortable, this open – without having to even say too much. What a special moment indeed. 

“Eight to ten, huh? I hope I still keep my hair.” Roderich cannot help but laugh. This truly something to think about. Something to let his often too busy mind meander through. When she keeps talking, helping to paint this rather interesting picture, he can’t help but laugh. “I am not surprised. But of course, it would do little to deter me. I am still myself after all.” 

He thinks of how to begin talking about that night those some odd years ago, he wonders where to begin. “Do you remember trying to make me really jealous in the bar. I remember watching you like a hawk.” 

It takes her a few moments to fully process what he means and when Erzsi finally does, she finds herself quite flustered. An emotion she is used to making others experience, but very rarely experiencing herself. “I-Ah! I was teasing!” Erzsi stutters a little as she tries to get her thoughts out, but instead of continuing she just pulls the blanket up to hide her face because she had definitely gone red from what he said.

“Oh, you are a DILF, don’t worry about that,” Erzsi remarks, her words a little muffled by the blanket. She laughs quietly to herself mostly, thinking about Roderich being a DILF was slightly amusing in any capacity. Roderich was already an incredibly attractive man, so adding him being an incredible father just made him almost too attractive. “Of course, we would get married and have a kid of our own. Probably a little boy. And I would probably almost die in childbirth because that’s how my mom died and let’s face it, we are at our best when we have angst and cute moments,” she says with a decisive tone and a short nod.

Peaking over the blanket at him, Erzsi chuckles a little, “Yeah, I’m assuming it worked since you put your hand on my thigh and weren’t exactly shy about it.”

Fighting side by side. Trusting each other completely. Trying to protect each other. Casual banter in the middle of a fight. Their teamwork. Sparring each other to keep their skills sharp. Getting uncontrollably angry if the other gets hurt. Kissing each other when they’re victorious.

I know it’s been tough for the both of us. We’ve both struggled so much in the past that you would think we would get a reprieve nowadays. But, I guess not. Maybe we will always struggle.

Have I ever told you how luck I am to have you in my life? I look forward to coming to visit or your visits even if we just lay on the floor and talk. Everything feels easy with you, it feels right to be able to talk as we do. To be as close as we are.

I guess you are probably wondering why you are getting a letter instead of me coming to visit. Well, I’ve never been real good with confessing and while I’m more of a face-to-face person, I don’t think I could handle seeing your face if you rejected. You see, after all we’ve been through, I’ve fallen in love with you.

And I know saying that might ruin our friendship.

But, I believe we would be so good for each other Gil. It’s always been you and me, so why not be together?

PSA; The Multiverse and Metagaming

don’t presume things about someone else’s muse based on your interactions with alternates/other rp blogs of the same muse. 

many different people have many different interpretations of the same character. different verses exist. people will tweak their canons. etc. many different blogs of the same character can exist and they will likely all have something unique to each of them – please remember this.

this trend is a form of metagaming in which if the presumption is correct their muse will know something about your muse based on their interactions with others of the same muse. usually this is information your muse has not given out and their muse should not know.

if the presumption is incorrect it becomes an awkward stand off of what is the “true” interpretation and leaves the mun feeling like their grasp of their character is being questioned or that the other individual presumes to know more about their muse than they do (or more than their muse knows about themself). It is disrespectful and awkward to do this to someone.

tl;dr presuming things about someone else’s muse based on your character’s interactions with other rp blogs of the same muse is a form of metagaming and it is disrespectful. most roleplayers frown upon it. will there be people who are okay with it? yes, but don’t presume they are okay with you well… presuming.
