Gazans are the purest souls in this cruel world...remembering how, despite how devastated their own health infrastructure is, gazans immediately set up a centre to donate blood after the Beirut blast and organized blood drives...my heart hurts

This is not to say that there isn’t a lot to be desired re: the Biden administration’s plan for Palestinians, but this section is specifically aimed at what the administration plans to do for the Jewish Community, and if you want to legitimately critique their policy maybe don’t photoshop inflammatory bullshit into your screenshots thanks
Here you go moron, it takes 2 seconds to look up that this was indeed the original statement that was published by their campaign, quoted in multiple articles and then later altered on their official website

A hundreds of years old tree sacred to the Djab Wurrung people has been cut down so a highway can shave 2 minutes off people’s commute.
The Directions Tree as its known has been the site of protests for over a year as Indigenous groups and activists have fought to protect this culturally significant tree. The tree in question is a place where women gave birth. Placentas were then mixed with seeds and buried underneath it.
The government has simply denied that this tree was on the list of protected trees and all the people grieving its loss are just mistaken which trees are old enough to be significant. Both the Victorian state government and the federal government have given approvals for the highway modification in the area which Indigenous people and activists have been fighting.
Protesters in the area were arrested by police. The police made a statement saying that they “respect people’s rights to peaceful protest” but also they were in the way and that highway won’t build itself so…

Beautiful heartrending korean documentary Factory Complex(2014) documents the harrowing history of marginalized female labour in South Korea across various industries(textile, tourism, meat etc) and the ways it has been replicated in other parts of the world, specifically Cambodia.

A summer spent in introspection.
Where are we and who am I? // I am just one of the people who is sick of the social order, // even so more today, // Europe is not my centre. // Because I know exactly who i am and what I want ... // I can accept what I cannot understand. // A pleasant feeling of having a clear conscience envelops you. // Now a question. Is the struggle over? // There is no end to our struggle. // For her, the struggle is today.
