[ Ω ]—— The lady’s colorful language takes Shouichi aback. Not only her clothes are unusal, also her manner of speech is something outworldly he cannot match. He’s ready to drop his bag and catch her when she stumbles, but pulls back quickly when the accident is averted.
“I don’t understand what’s going on, but I’m glad you completed your challenge successfully!” He nods, grinning wide in spite of his confusion. It looks so fun though, he should go against an escalator someday. And maybe take Hikawa along for added fun.
“Oh, I was just a little concerned and didn’t want to see people get hurt in front of me. You could say it’s a reflex thing.” Laughing, Shouichi rubs the back of his head with his free hand. An elevator attendant, huh? That might explain the clothes a little bit.
“I’m Shouichi Tsugami, and I, uh… cook and clean a lot, I guess!”
“Ooh... I’ve never done those activities! Are you good at them? Could you kindly tell me how they are done?”
Not a hint of joke or irony was present in her words, despite how odd and unlikely they were. Both were things one would consider boring and mundane, yet they geninuely caught her interest. Though, wasn’t it rude to ask people so many things at once? She couldn’t help but feel a bit bad for letting her manners slip because of her curiosity.
“I hope I’m not overwhelming you with my questions. Truth is, I’m not very familiar with how human world works and my guide seems to be nowhere around...I’d be very grateful if you could lend me your help, at least for a little while.”
