today in my hot girl summer of trying to stop being wildly depressed because im overworked

i played guitar! for the first time in over six months! i would have kept playing longer if it didnt physically hurt! my hands still know the shapes even though so many things have changed

i picked up my cross stitch! and made good progress until i realized i had started the pattern sideways and thus had made all my stitches 90° off from where they should be. which made me angry and sad so i stopped.

i booby trapped my room and covered it in a bunch of rainbow colored notes that say “you aren’t happy bc you’re looking at your phone” so hopefully that screen time goes down even though its all i have energy for nowadays
