For the first time in their conversation, the smile was whiped from Wrathion’s face. His expression melted into a frown, his brows lowers, in what wasn’t quite a glare, but definitely an expression of loathing.
"…such insults are tiring. And here I pegged you to have more intelligence." Truly, anger was starting to fill his chest, the familiar fires burning high in his throat. They licked at his tongue, urging him to show this girl the error of her ways for her insolence—
—but he steadied himself. Not yet. Not yet. Soon, however, he knew he and this girl would meet again.
"I usually give mortals the courtesy of my name," he quipped. "But such information would be wasted on you."
“Well, if you ya and bark like this all the time I see that our second meting will come soon enough, dog.” She smiles and takes a moc bow in his direction. “See you next time~”
Well she did look really out of it, though that was the same look people gave him when they were fed up with his bullshit. Hey, not his fault it was hard to tell the difference. Well, he had basically saved her from a monster. It was pretty much the same thing, come on. Major hero points for that. Gotta tone it back, before she fell head over heels for his manly charm.
"Niccce, nice… so yeah, uh, besides away from the big ol’ monster, where do you want to go? Like, uh, a flower shop? Your room? Uh, that’s cool too. You know, just throwing suggestions out there… haha, not saying that I would get you flowers… I mean I totally would, but… yeah lets just relax ok? Chiiiillll."
“.....My room is fine.” was all Megumi could muster,, brushing her hair bhind her ear and looking past Bolin’s figure. Her hands move o clasp at the sdies of her dress, unable to say much more and bows lightly. “Thank you for everything.”
”Agree to disagree we shall.” Wrathion looked at her with equal disgust. He crossed his arms over his chest, tilting his head as he looked at her, clicking his tongue.
”Shall I at least know the name of one who hates monsters so much? Maybe I shall even grace you with my own.”
"You'd think I'd let you say my name, freak?" she spat, "Call me whatever you want, I'll just do the same." Even if she was lower than the creature in wealth or status, Megumi felt holding back even something as simple as her surname carried weight.
"Does dog fit for you?"
”A human is no more capable of anything than any other creature. I know what I am when it comes to what mortals believe.”
Wrathion finally stood, getting up on his feet, slowly rising to his full height. Yes, this girl was just like the others. She thought she was so much more enlightened to the world, and yet she didn’t even know how shrouded in darkness she was.
”Pitiful,” he said out loud.
”You think you can predict my own destiny? You can’t even see your own ignorance. I’ve dealt with thousands of mortals, of humans, and I’ve even met those truly deserving of my respect.”
”I can’t even pity you.”
"I guess we'll agree to disagree." Megumi stiffens her shoulders, glaring down at someone she considered a lesser being to herself one last time before moving away. "I'm glad you can't even pity me, a monster's pity is ridiculous and stupid."
Besides, she had plans for this stain in her path, she'd find a way to ruin him completely and lick her shoes. Drive was the only thing that kept her running, and drive would make sure to get her places she'd need.
I should have known it'd be you
Leave me “I should have known it’d be you,” and I’ll generate a number between 1-25 to see how my character would kill yours.
1. My character accidentally hits yours with a car.
"I should have known it'd be you,"
Leave me “I should have known it’d be you,” and I’ll generate a number between 1-25 to see how my character would kill yours.
24. My character sets a building on fire with your character inside.
Hi I am working on the memes I just got emotionally invested in hate ship the movie. I am heading off to work on them now!
The dragon had to admit he was taken aback by the girl’s sharp tongue. He would be impressed, if he had not been the one being insulted. His gleeful expression faded, and he looked down at her as one would an insect.
”You call me a monster, but is it not better to be a monster in control of their own destiny than simply a puppet?” He sneered at her.
It seems that monsters were extremely dumb witted with remarks, hinting to Megumi that perhaps she was in the upperhand over the beast, pleasing her greatly. She shakes her head at his remark, smiling to him with a rather tastefully painted look of innocence.
"So human like, 'a monster in control of their own destiny?' It's so wistful enough to make me sick." The younger girl clasps her hands together, closing her eyes to mull over his words a bit longer before responding,
"No, I believe even disgusting humans you critique hold more power to string their path for the better over you. A monster is a monster, and the fact that you know that's what you are already carves a path that cannot be changed completely."
"You will fail, you will lose. Your salvation will crumble because of your beliefs."
I should have known it'd be you,
Leave me “I should have known it’d be you,” and I’ll generate a number between 1-25 to see how my character would kill yours.
3. My character stabs yours in the back - literally.

Angst and Trigger Warnings do apply to many of these prompts. Some are a bit silly and stupid thrown in.

What a pleasant girl she was, and she didn’t seem too nervous anymore either. That was good, Litchi didn’t like to see anyone looking uncomfortable.
"You’re very welcome, but don’t feel obligated to pay me back. To me, helping people is its own reward," She returned her bow in the same fashion, dipping her head low. "Well, you can start by walking around and seeing what’s open. I recommend going to Sector Five, since that’s the Shopping District. I’ve seen plenty of now hiring signs posted there. People will also post help wanted signs around the city or in papers. If you can get to a computer you should be able to see posted job opportunities as well."
Her personality seem to lean towards compassionate, which also meant gullable and easily persauded with a few kind acts. This could lean to an advantage for Megumi in the future, and for now, will continue to imitate a sweet young appeal to hold whoever this woman may be. The woman nods to the much older looking female, clasping her hands together as if unsure what to say.
"Sector Five..." she had yet to go fully scouting this strange area, merely gving short glimpses at the daily life happening from dusk to dawn. "It seems like it isn't hard to find something to here." Perhaps she could find ways to work with someone who deals with herbs and hallucinogens. "Is someone....maybe needing a hand with medicinal plants or soothing aromas out there...anything specific to that nature?"
Listening to her, the prince’s face didn’t change from his knowing smile. You could say it grew even, his lips spreading across his teeth in a grin, the fire in his eyes glinting.
Yes, this was another thing. Oh how they loved to preach. Everyone, did, from dragons to titans to mortals, they loved hearing their own voices, spouting out their knowledge. But what did they know that he did not? Ha.
”Assimilate? I’ve done enough assimilating in my life.” His voice wasn’t a hiss or a growl, but held an edge in its softness. "If you would call me a monster, you wouldn’t be wrong, but to call me pitiable is mistaken."
”I’ve met so many types of people in these worlds. And if you think you’re any different than your kind, if you think yourself so enlightened, then you’re the pitiful one in my eyes.”
"Again with putting words into mouths, are you an idiot?" Megumi flicks a few strands of hair from her face, thin brows narrowing as she continued to glare down at the creature with disdain. "You are pitiable. You're a monster who preaches the same words every other person in time has said."
She folds her arms around her chest, scowling down on his face with enough malice to cause a whiplash. "I never said I was "enlightened; I'm not anything but who I am. It's you who holds a false title to other people about who you are."
One of the things Wrathion prided himself on (he had many, if he was being honest) was his ability to read people. There’s weren’t many people he couldn’t figure out (the image of a certain bronze dragon flitted into his memory for a second before being pushed away), and mortals were especially easy. They usually wanted simple things: money, power, etc, etc…
”I’ve met people with priorities,” he said her, lightly and conversationally. "People who are driven to a goal. They exert great power to get what they want."
Flashes of his mother, of the Red, of being trapped inside and listening but unable to act. He could hear them, understand them and all their words, but he was helpless then. Even of the burning of the skies, he saw, though it hadn’t happened yet…
”…I hate those types of people.”
”Myself not included, of course.”
"What are you going on about." was her tired sigh. For a moment she had felt a slight amount of respect for the man, and here we was, prattling to her like she was a child. "Do you think you are talking to a wall with your vapid breathing?" Megumi politely tilts her head, a questioning gaze with a delicate arched brow digging into his prideful face.
"Hating those types of people, yet excluding yourself is awfully deceitful. What makes you better than others with besides your wealth and attire? Power maybe?" She scoffs, slowly standing up as if to tower this royal...whoever, clearly not taking his boastful heresay easily.
"For all I could know you could be a pitiful monster, but to behave and assimilate as close to humanity makes you more or less on the same level, so it's funny to see you hide yourself in those words."
”No hospitality?”
”Well, mortals do have many motives for things, as I have learned. Fear, pity, awe… among others.” He looked at her, his clawed fingers tapping against his chin. Mortals were never usually so blunt with him.
”I wonder what your motives are?”
"My motives..." So is this being implying himself to being immortal? What a drag, and also skeptic. Megumi found no other way to continue a chat that merely nestled itself in suspicions, but found a self gratifying appeal to not being sweet talked or coddled by one such as himself. It was almost similar to the woman she had met earlier.
Gathering her thoughts in a neat, chronological order, she returned his look with one of her own, a soft smile that should give enough information about who she was.
"None as of yet. Priorities have changed."
