"Don’t look now, sugar.”
“But there’s a rather large rodent right on your shoulder.” Raising up a hand, she aimed her palm right at the beast in question. “Now, just hold still...”

The park maintained a soothing atmosphere, one which consisted of stillness and hush. Two things which most would cherish dearly, such as himself. He sat aloft a seat which stood midst the park, allowing his view on the park to be extended vastly which only led the sight of another baring a ferret-like creature. Taking notice of their presence, he would proceed to ignore them as if no one else had entered the park until Minerva would perk up and stare at said creature.
An eyebrow would lift at this, unaware of what the cause of her sudden interest was until the wyvern begun to pounce onto the stranger and his pet. Catching sight of this abrupt change of behavior, his hand would curl around and restrict her from escaping, or so he thought. As if it was a cannonball being shot from a cannon itself, Minerva had burst from his grasp and began to torpedo towards the other. Concern obviously hinted in his tone, he exclaimed without delay, ❝look out!❞

Clank. Clank. Clank. Clank.
In all honesty, it was near-impossible to ignore the sound that sounded down the street, louder every time. They were certainly footsteps, but metallic, loud, and heavy -- whoever or whatever was moving was definitely inhuman. And just as the sound reached a head...he appeared from around the corner, skulking under a cloak, skeletal...and intimidating.
“.......Gggggrrrrrggghhhhh.....you there. I demand you tell me which planet I have landed on! It seems I am privy to a mighty joke -- but I find no mirth in it. Tell me how I can find a ship off immediately, before I rend you to dust!”

"Pardon me, but you seem rather knowledgeable in these matters. Now if I were in need of wooing an adorable cutie, would a flower and a cupcake suffice as gifts?"

The city was the same, but also different. The buildings changed, the shops, the people, but the atmosphere stayed the same. Like a rat in a cage, he paced the streets absentmindedly, considering his next move. His return was unexpected, but inevitable. Ducking into an alley, the armored man began daydreaming, something atypical of him. In this city the Power of Order had no sway over his actions, and that caused Hakumen to feel more human than ever before. Memories were slowly returning, both good and bad. The plight caused by the Black Beast was, however, as plain as day, and definitely unforgettable. The Murakumo unit’s existence was a constant threat to the world, as long as that man existed as well…
Hakumen shook his head to chase the disturbing thoughts away, just in time for an unidentified flying object to rapidly shoot in his direction. Purely on reflex, the samurai raised his fist in an impromptu guard, parrying the disc and shattering it in two halves. ‘’A piece of rock, strangely circle shaped. But why was it flying? Am I under attack? Show yourself.’’ The samurai commanded, his voice echoing across the multitude of alleys connecting this one. The perpetrator showed his apologetic face , hands waving in self-defense. ‘’Explain yourself.’’ Hakumen demanded while holding up the two broken disc pieces.

"Hey, are you lost?"
Settling into a crouching position, the brunette participated in a staring battle against a furry little beast sporting a ringed tail. A brief analysis of its appearance judged it to be a pet, as it maintained a healthy body and fur coat, compared to various strays found within the depths of the city's alleyways. Had Minako not taken the opportunity to rest her ears from the restraints of the earphones, she would've utterly been deaf to its bestial language and follow alongside the flow of pedestrians streaming across the sidewalk.
"Hm...I wonder who your owner is?"

"Hey, which headline do you think would grab your attention more? 'The Way This Child Dealt With Her Abusive Mother Will Bring You Hope' or 'Rosa: Bad Mother or Misunderstood?'"

Yuki wasn't certain what this fiery, furry critter was, but she was certain in the fact that he was an easy target to discern amid the tall, verdant grasses. He also made for an enjoyable ''prey'', and even more exciting to chase. Yipping madly, the pup tailed this alien ferret up until they had both emerged from the tall grass, where her target had happened to reunite with the shoulders of his friend.
The pup, meanwhile, paying no heed to where she was going, would barrel right into the said companion's leg.
