Normally you would talk about it with your lover, Ace, but said man had just left for the following days. After exactly two days with pain, you couldn’t bear it anymore though. You had walked into the doctors office angrily, already out of breath from the short distance, and asked for help, for medicine, for something. What you got from the doctors however, shocked you extremely.

“Ah, why do you look so grumpy, little one?” Thatch asks, ripping you away from your thoughts. His brown hair seemed to shine under the light of the sunset. “You’ve been gripping onto this weak glass of water for over an hour now, where’s the beer?” He laughs wholeheartedly. “Ain’t no party without beer, sweetie.”

You open your mouth, about to say something, when a big glass of alcohol was sat down on the table. A familiar smell arounds you as an warm arm sneakily gets around your shoulders. “Are you flirting with my woman, cook?” Ace teases, a big grin plastered on his face. “Because you better not be!”

Thatch grins right back at the freckled man, all while you feel yourself become more and more uncomfortable in this situation. You had yet to tell someone about your… well, situation. He looks at you with warm eyes and you feel your heart jump in your chest. Suddenly, you feel like you can’t breath anymore. “I-I missed you too.”, you stutter and smile at him, or at least you try.

“Are you okay? You look like something’s wrong.” Ace murmurs and pushes a strand of hair behind your ear. You stare at him for a long second, then you take a deep breath.

“Ace… I think we should talk.”

He pushes his head back and musters you surprised, mouth open. “This does not sound good… but, like now?”

You nod and stand up, chewing on your bottom lip in worry. You can’t help but be scared, this was not something that happened often. This was not something that was supposed to happen, you were a pirate after all!

You grab your lovers hand, feeling a bit of comfort at the warmth and walk to the very end of the deck, where it’s much quieter and less people are present. You let go of his hand and keep walking, the beat of your heart increasing incredibly.

“You’re scaring me.” He says and laughs nervously. “Is this the moment where you tell me, thatch was right and you guys really had something going on last few days?” Ace jokes, but you know, some part of him actually is scared of your answer.

“What? No!”, you say and shake your head. “I wouldn’t do that, stop being ridiculous.” You can’t help but smile at him and you feel like, that was the right thing to do. Ace visibly relaxes and you feel yourself calm down a bit too, but still not enough to catch the right words for your announcement.

You gulp and take a deep breath. This is the moment, you think to yourself, this is going to be the moment where everything will change. Not helping yourself, you think of the worst scenario. What if he doesn’t want this child? What if he doesn’t want you anymore after this? What if he’s mad at you? You know, Ace would never react to you like that, ever. But you just can’t help it, you simply can’t.

“Hey,” His soft voice lulls you back to reality. “It’s okay, just tell me.”

“I am…”, you stare right into his eyes. This is it. This is the moment. “I am pregnant, Ace.”

The sky is now completely dark and throughout the whole ship, lights are turned on. Lamp after lamp is switched on, the darkness slowly turning into a shining atmosphere. The ship glows in the sea like a star in the galaxy and you feel like, it’s the perfect description for what you see in your lovers eyes.

It’s a mixture between happiness, admiration, confusion and concern. It’s clearly visible, that he feels overwhelmed and you feel your eyes get wet. You bite your lip and try your best to get a grip on yourself.

“You’re…. what?” He asks, needing to hear it twice. You repeat your words with a shaky voice and glance at the floor.

A few long seconds pass and neither of you speak. You feel bad for telling him now, after he hadn’t been back home for a day, but you had to tell him.

That’s ridiculous, you will be a great father, Ace!“, you say, hurt by him saying those things about himself. “You’re so much more than just the son of Roger, you’re a loved part of this family, you’re a Whitebeard pirate, you’re the second division commander and you’re going to be a great dad, an amazing dad! ☄️Reader will have to ask him out on date, as Fujitora is often very much will not make the first move, worried about abusing his power or making Reader feel guilty. He will say yes as he finds the idea of dating Reader amusing before asking for details on the date.

☄️He isn’t a man that requires a lot, of planning for a date as he would enjoy the simple things in life. A walk around the park, or a simple dinner at a restaurant that was always recommended but never had a chance to visit. Or even going to the casino to gamble a few bucks away.

☄️He will trust Reader with whatever choice they made for the date. He would still wear his kimono as it would go well with everything plus, he doesn’t have a large option of clothing but it would be made of the best material.

☄️He likes the Reader a lot due to them having the same morals and wanting to protect innocent citizens. He has noticed Reader’s kind heart talking about how they strayed from a mission from time to time to help a child find a lost pet or helping a couple rekindle their love, or even protect the weak from some bullies. He finds all those aspects of them charming and remarks on them wishing everyone in the marines had the same value.

☄️The date would end with him taking Reader back home as they continue their conversation about improving the Marines. He will give a gentle pat on the Reader's head ending the date before he would ask Reader for another date this time he will plan everything for the Reader and surprise them.

🌳It happens during Training when he first asks Reader out, it is more almost a demand as he is watching Reader finish their training and dabbing their face with a towel. He isn’t sure why but just watching Reader he wanted to ask them out, of course he comes out charismatic and charming it is hard to say no.

🌳He is very much attracted to Reader and will often make remarks to the Reader while they are working out training. Hence why it isn’t a surprise when he does ask Reader out. He often pushes Reader hard or have them stay longer to improve on their skill in battle just because he wouldn’t want Reader to be hurt or damaged during battle. He would have little time to save them.

🌳The date itself is a bit more extravagant than all the other admirals as he shows off what power and money can do. It is fancy restaurants, or the best casinos that he thinks Reader will enjoy as he himself enjoys, if Reader isn’t to impressed a nice little nature walk is the next best thing he will thinking about.

🌳He will talk to the reader about how he enjoys battle, or his last battle. He talks about his political view about power. And how as Marines they have a job to ahold justice. He very much will take justice into his own hands on his own date if he sees something that displeases them but also impresses Reader.

🌳After the date ends, he will walk Reader home before leaning in leaving a kiss on their lips. He would feel satisfied with the date and would ask Reader out for another date, he is very intimidating but yet he is still full of charisma and charm it is hard to say no so Reader will agree while he kisses Reader again thus ending the night.

- Every time that you two are at the betting pools or casinos, whether it be in marineford HQ or some random island, you would quietly tap out in morse code exactly what cards you could see, barely anyone paid any attention when you did look at their cards, after all, they knew you couldn't talk, but they were either too stupid or too prideful to think that you couldn't communicate in other ways,

- Issho won a lot of money at the casinos, even without your cheating advantage added, and when you did help him win big? The marine admiral treated you to a local soba or gyoza spot,

- Because of Issho's sight loss, he compensates for not being able to see you, by being able to feel you, gentle touches across your face as you guided his hands to map out your features,

- Whenever hed ask questions about the colour of your eyes, or clothes? You'd tap the response out on his wrist, tracing the patterns of the veins on his hands or pressing soft kisses to his jaw,

- You would always wear the same perfume/cologne to make sure that he always could tell when you walked in the room, or when you were beside him,

- Issho always appreciated how you never babied him due to his sight loss. Many people do not understand that blindness is a spectrum and with the additive of haki?, most of what others would call a disadvantage had actually benefitted his fighting abilities, being able to hear his opponents much easier. He may not be able to see, but he had trained his observation haki immensley and could get around just fine, sometimes he used his sheathed sword in areas that were completely unfamiliar to him,

- The best part though? Was when Issho would speak the words that you could not, and honestly? You got them both in trouble quite a lot, but it was very funny, and due to the sheer amount of pirates that were present in this era? They couldn't fire either of you,

Borsalino often betted in meetings how fast it would take your quiet silence to tick off Akainu. The hotheaded red dog had really been on his whicks end. Though since Ryogyoku and Kizaru were stupid enough to put a timer on how long it would take Issho to translate and speak your words to turn this meeting to shit? You and Iasho would simply stall until the estimated time was over, and then Fujitora would speak your mind and provide your feedback in meetings.

Only for you both to collect the berri's at the end of the meeting from your coworkers and then proceed to either eat a meal or try your luck with the dice rolls once again.

At first, Zuko didn’t know how to approach you. He doesn’t have much experience with girls and during that time, he’s meant to regain his honor. Iroh is the one to advise Zuko, they can be a bit cheesy that Zuko has a hard time doing them. 

Like almost every inexperienced relationship, Zuko starts off as awkward and distant. However, as your relationship goes; you’ve gained his trust and heart. Zuko becomes more affectionate and you come to find out; he’s touch starved. While eating or sitting down, both of you are leaning toward each other. His kisses are longer and more passionate, so are his cuddles.
