wow asking me about my current special interest bless you, everyone deserves someone like you in their life and in their inbox.
so i took my time with your ask bc i was in the middle of finalizing and posting part two of meifiz bodyswap au. so i'm going to talk about meifiz in that universe because that's where my head is currently at. some spoilers for that below!
i think that something that really struck me as i was writing them is how much trust they have between them, and the foundation of that type of trust is really critical for kink exploration. you don't necessarily have to be in love with someone to explore kink, although meifiz in this universe definitely are in love, and i think sophia probably does have to be head over heels in love with someone to explore what she explores with megan, but like, even then, it's specifically megan's desire for it and sophia's desire to give megan what she wants that allows sophia to dig deeper into that part of herself.
i think megan would be more aware of her own desire around the mommy of it all, and i think i established that with some of her headspace in part one when they were together for the first time. so, as i was writing that scene, i was like hmm. interesting. there's more here for them to play around with.
i think of mommy kink in their case to really be more the exploration of their already existing dynamic of sophia having the deep desire to take care of megan, to be the one she comes to, and the kind of desire that megan has to be close to her and chosen by her, ("to be good for her, to be useful.") it's interesting bc for megan, she both wants sophia to see her as an equal, and wants sophia to decide things for her, so the tension there is also yummy to play around with. she sees sophia as mature and elegant and like, evolved, and she wants to be that way too, she sees her as very put together and everything, but she also desperately wants to be the one that gets to see below that to what is going on underneath, what her inner world is like (being so curious about what she journals about, being so satisfied when she gets to see sophia be raw and emotional in bed).
for sophia, she would naturally struggle more with her attraction to megan, as well as her desire to play out some of the kink stuff, because she has more shame and avoidance about the age gap. as the older one, there is a lot more there for her in terms of grappling with if it's ok to want this, if it's ok to give megan what she wants, kind of philosophically. the bond and love and attraction is natural and real and isn't "creepy" (like she worries), by any means, and she knows and feels that it isn't, but she still struggles with the idea that maybe somehow it's wrong and bad and she is horrible for even being with megan like this in the first place, much less playing out mommy kink with her. meanwhile she admires megan so much, for being open and vulnerable and sweet and honest, and that lets her eventually let some of her avoidant tendencies go to trust megan to open up to her about how she's feeling, too.
so the bodyswap really started something for both of them because they were able to see that the other would choose them, that they admire each other, and spend more time one on one. but also be continually reminded that they are opposite in many ways. the ways they differ though are very compatible, and i was really interested by how that plays out for them in bed, how naturally they kind of already had taken to the dynamic that really attracted them in the first place, the dominance and submission in their personalities lends itself really well to their sexual compatibility. their bond and trust and romantic love for each other creates the foundation for them to be super open minded and curious about each other, which leads to them being able to explore kink in a safe and beautiful way.
their first sex scene was like, soul sex, and i think part two was just freakier soul sex, and that's so beautiful. the fluffiest sweetest most romantic face slapping and mommy/babygirl dynamic of all time, perhaps?
i also struggled a bit when writing to toe the line between feeling like i was preaching or like, explaining how to explore kink in a way that takes the reader out of the story, but ultimately i did think that sophia would need to process and explore some stuff before she could get to a place where she could really lean into this side of herself/their dynamic, so i hope that came across well. i was happy with how it turned out. also holy shit it got really really hot haha.
another thing that is really fun about them is that they really don't have quite as much content as many other pairings, which means i have to do more exploring of their personalities separately, and figure things out from there.
i may or may not have some future plans to write them again... :')
