the feygoat! i wanted to make a doll with an unusual limb configuration, and ended up sculpting this little weirdo. their feet still need some adjustments for pleasant poseability, but here's some prototype pics in the meanwhile.

I’m not usually a 1/6 person but boy howdy is Dollzone out there tempting me with this little lady. Her legs stand a little wonky but I think some sueding would fix that, maybe a tiny mod. Love the feathering details tho. Glad I found out about her at the beginning of the event period so I have the full month to think about it....

You ever make a wild impulse purchase.....

She is a grey Lillycat Lyse on a grey DC  Y-body-6 that was dyed to better match her head. I got her as is from @snow-and-resin and the dye was done by @mismantisbjd (who does not take dye commissions) USPS gave me a bit of a scare for a few days and I spent collectively almost 2 hours on the phone but she’s here now! I’m calling her an early birthday present to myself :P

Red is done! I am so glad to have finished a doll again, I have lots of dolls still in-progress so this gives me hope I CAN finish them. I think I know who’s next, too. But first Red needs to be drawn, since he’s decided he wants to be a character as well. Never happens usually. 

So this is a Lillycat Lyse, modded to have horns, elf ears and dreaming eyes. Dyed red with black gradients, and painted with gold flowers. Took way too long.

Given that I am saving up I had this idea of selling him once I was done, but with how many hours went into him and how fond I got of the design myself, that’s no longer gonna happen :”D Sorry. I doubt people could afford him HA

Oh yeah I have a tumblr! Here’s some pictures of my current work-in-progress. This Lyse was dyed and modded by her previous owner, which I both removed. I’ve given her dreaming eyes, pointy ears, horns are by Apel. The dye job is rit dyemore racing red, and rit dyemore charcoal. Gold paint is a powder from schmincke, that I just kinda found in the art store, I don’t know, try and stop me from taking every gold paint in existence to try. You can’t.

Feeler for my Lillycat Lyse/ Doll chateau hybrid. Head is grey-purple and the body was grey, dyed a bit purple by MisMantis to match the head better. Dye has some splotches I can photograph on request but it isn’t visible most of the time.The body is Youth-06. Can come with the dress (which is handmade especially for this body). Comes with high heeled feet only! She roughly fits SD16 shoes and I will throw in a pair (not the ones pictured). Would like to get around $650 for her I think.
