Ambessa and Mel have a complicated relationship but Ambessa never truly hated Mel. I don't know if there was favoritism but there was definitely still some kind of love on Ambessa's side even with Mel fighting against her. I find it sweet that Mel and Ambessa had a moment where Ambessa told her that Mel was finally the wolf. The contrast in how she treated Cait vs Mel was amazing <333
Also π Ambessa would've 100% beat Caits ass if it weren't for plot armor. I have yet to make gifs over Cait getting easily beat but I'll get to it eventually.
And I'll def have to make some gifs of Mel with Ambessa cause they deserved better π₯Ίπ«Άπ½
Mel and Elora headcanons if they lived in a modern alternative universe where instead of being a politician and dealing with the Black Rose plot, Mel and Elora are just two women trying to come up in the world as a lawyer and realtor.
Mel still has a complicated relationship with her mother, but the violence her mother sees and causes are significantly lessened. I'm not sure how exactly I'd make Ambessa still have an issue similar to the fox and the wolf dilemma, but she'll be out of Mel's life due to their disagreements (whatever they are).

I really don't know what to do with Ambessa in a modern au but I want her to keep an eye on Mel from afar.

I'm not that big of a fan of Jayce/Mel. I don't know why, but I just don't care for them. I don't hate them, but they just aren't a ship I'm interested in.
The only times I would be interested in JayMel would be if Jayce was a butch.

I like Jayce x Mel x Elora x Sky x Vik with Jayce and Mel sharing Elora and Sky. I'm not big on Jayvik either so Jayce and Mel are lovers in law along with Jayce and Viktor. Mel and Vik love each other tho <3
