"I mostly work in reduction linocut, which means I use one block of lino, cutting it away after I've printed each layer. By the time I've finished there's hardly anything left. This makes it a limited edition print as I can't print it again.

The Skokloster cushion (made 1250 – 1350). It is sewn together from several pieces of fabric of different colours.

Found in: Skokloster Church, Parish: Skokloster parish, Municipality: Håbo municipality, Region: Uppland, Country: Sweden.

Red and blue worsted wool, white half-wool. Intarsia embroidery. Acquired in 1952. Originally the object was larger. Fragments at the edges indicate that there were more squares.
