Ok rarely do I draw because I’m bad at it. But. I got the Simarillion today and I just had to draw these two. Shoutout to beauties and the war-hardened men who devote their entire lives to them.

Maglor, inspired by art I saw last time I was in Uzbekistan and featuring a pattern created by @peasant-player. Details under the cut

Here are the two main images I used as inspiration when drawing this

The first is from the museum of applied arts in Tashkent, the second is from the subway station Buyuk Ipak Yo'li. The instrument is based on a dutar. The vest is using Peasant's most recent pattern, which reminded me of a lot of art I saw in Uzbekistan as well.

My tablet really really struggled with this so I had to make the drawing lower quality than intended.
