Friends and waterfowl lovers! I’ve been working hard on this project and I’m so excited to share it with you all. I’m offering high quality digital prints of these 9 lovely little duckies. Scroll to see full image and a photo of my silly face with the smallest available size (18”) framed. These would make a great gift all framed up Xmas is next month y’all), or you can get one for yourself just so you can stare at cute duckies all day. The bottom of the print tells you each species too, so you can buff up your bird knowledge ☺️ I will be offering each bird as a tattoo via lottery system here a bit later, so if you want one of these guys on your body, you will get the chance! I’ve been working on a slightly different project this week. Finally finished this wood burned acoustic guitar for a client! I had to take a Grateful Dead theme and turn it into something I enjoyed working on 🙃 my friend and luthier Julie Skarry stripped the front and sides, and will be refinishing the guitar (which I’m very happy about because it’s my least favorite part of guitar projects and she’s a pro). PLEASE READ FULLY This is the second available tattoo design of critically endangered species. This is called a vaquita (which means little cow in Spanish) and it is both the worlds smallest cetacean and the most endangered marine mammal. There are an estimated 9 vaquita remaining in the gulf of California according to www.vivavaquita.org. Their numbers have dropped sharply due to the use of gillnets, in which the vaquita entangle and drown. Gillnets are in use to catch a large fish called a totoba, whose swim bladder is in high demand as a health food in Chin. Gillnets are also used to catch shrimp and other fish. If we don’t work to rid the gulf of California of gillnets and protect this species, they will go extinct in the next several years. Despite a Vaquita Refuge Area, illegal fishing boats still fish in the area. To help, please purchase sustainable seafood and avoid Mexican shrimp, and spread the awareness of this beautiful little porpoise. If you live in Mexico, write to your government to help stop illegal fishing in the area. Elect officials with good environmental records. The proceeds of the tattoo excluding tip will be donated to conservation of that particular animal. . This is my first released design of an animal called a Saola. They weren’t even discovered until 1992 and there are any from a few dozen to a few hundred found only in the mountainous forests of Laos and Vietnam. They’re often called the Asian Unicorn and none exist in captivity. . I would like to approach flash availability a bit differently than I have in the past.
