oh lord help me my local ulta now has an on site LP. Like in uniform and all like wtf I have NEVER seen this in an ulta before  They moved all the naked palettes to the front my the registers Has anyone else ever encountered an Ulta with LP before?

I’ve never seen lp at my ulta, but I also go to the ones in low crime areas… Do they greet you? Are they walking around constantly??

Are the palettes like in front of the registers?? Because all of mine are by the registers but on a separate side of the store. What I’ve had luck with is, and this works especially well with stores with two entrances, to grab a couple palettes, make my way over to the other side, drop them off (like half) in my blind spot in hair care, which is by the other entrance, and put back the other half. Then I hit other stores that are easier, come back from the other entrance that isn’t by the registers, and take the palettes and leave. I only lifted from ulta a few times but I’ve never been customer services in hair care, so this is my favorite method.

The lp was like wandering the whole store and greeting people and stuff and omg it was the worst :( Sadly the naked palettes are literally like… literally sitting in a box on the register stand right in front of the cashiers. It’s terrible. Otherwise that method would be perfect.  I guess I’ll just have to check back and see if the LP is a constant thing or not

They might be testing it out in one store in that district and see how well the lp does, and if they prevent that much shrink they’ll be implementing that in other stores in other districts too, because there are 5 ultas within 30 min of my house and none of them have ever done this

Regional LP usually show up after a big loss of products so that's probably why they're there. They're the ones who can actually stop you if they suspect you of stealing so be careful

Story time, bitches.

So today my friend and I decided to go to ULTA to kill some time because we were bored. We went in, I went to the drugstore section in the NYX aisle where I usually conceal and started picking out everything I wanted. I got just about everything I wanted and my friend wanted to go to the higher end side to grab a couple of things so I said why not. I saw a few things I wanted from BECCA so I got a foundation and some highlighter and a pack of IT brushes. As I’m walking over to the drugstore section to conceal everything I see a woman dressed in all black with a plain shirt and a headset eyeing me like a hawk. I knew it was regional LP because I know what every employee at my ULTA looks like. My stomach immediately cramped up and I felt so sweaty because I knew she knew what we were doing. My friend and I try to play it off and act like we’re browsing near the body care section and she basically runs up to us and GRABS everything out of my friends hands and tells her she’s gonna hold it for her at the register and she says a smart ass remark, ‘I hope you’re gonna pay for these this time’ like bitch… So at this point I knew what was going to happen so I went back to the NYX aisle and emptied all of the shit out of my bag. I’m so pissed about it but I’m not going to jail over some makeup. Not worth it. I’m not going back to that ulta for a while.

PLEASE be careful and don’t get too comfortable because that’s when you fuck up. Remember that employees remember faces. Change up your routine often so you aren't suspected. And keep in mind customers can be fucking snitches Xo
