My art work, along with other members of my art guild, are having a group show! Our reception will take place on Saturday October 17th, 2015 at Halyards from 6pm - 4am with our artwork, live art performances and a video screening from 6 - 9pm, and then live bands performing from 9pm - Midnight.

Went on a trip Upstate with my sweetie to Dia:Beacon, a must-see spot on the contemporary-art circuit! It was so well curated & beautiful. There was a long, windowed hall which housed light installations by Dan Flavin. Flavin once summed up his practice as “decisions to combine traditions of painting and sculpture in architecture with acts of electric light defining space.” 

“Dia:Beacon's expansive spaces are well suited to the needs of large-scale installations, paintings, and sculptures. In keeping with Dia's history of single-artist, site-related presentations, each gallery was designed specifically for the art it contains.”

Went on a trip Upstate to DIa:Beacon, a must-see spot on the contemporary-art circuit! It was so well curated & beautiful. Walking through Robert Irwin’s Homage to The Square, consisting of eighteen interconnected rooms set apart by transparent scrims, felt like a surreal transformation of space & the affects of light. As was (not pictured) Richard Serra’s Torqued Ellipses. Traveling around & inside of these pieces was like a education of light & form.
