I have been reading this bl manhwa named ‘the king of home dating’ which is recently back with its new season and i have to say it’s one of the well written bl i have encountered after such a long time. It’s kinda underrated and i genuinely think that it deserves more recognition. It’s a sequel of ‘the king of home cooking’ with the second lead being the ml in this one and the angst in this one is crazy.

Twitter has been so much toxic that it has ruined my experience of enjoying sth. I am glad that i deactivated it and i have also come to a realization that it is now a space for dumb people to constantly insult, compare and ruin others fun. I did know it was toxic but it was more fun than toxic and i could actually enjoy being in a fandom interacting with all the people who shared the same interests. But fandoms these days are just so toxic and i m not even only talking about other fandoms i am not a part of but also my own fandoms. The fun is so much less than the stress a fandom gives me these days. Fandom was meant to be an escape from all the stress but now it’s the thing that gives me more stress. And i genuinely do not understand the concept of constant comparisons fandoms make just to feel superior coz that just makes them look insanely dumb. Let people enjoy what they enjoy and if u dislike what they enjoy, just stfu. Everyone is different and so are their likes and i hate it when people do not understand this basic concept. Let people enjoy their anime, their group, their manga, their ship and if u do not like it, just don’t interact with it, why do people have to constantly fight and insult things others like?

I wish there were eng subs for taste of time but even though there weren’t eng subs, i am glad that i found someone the live translation of this show and I really enjoyed it. Xiao yu, zhang zhehan and zhang su have the best friendship ever and I really like how both of zhehan’s friends spoil him like a princess. I trust that they are still taking good care of zhehan.

Zhang zhehan deserves a chance to defend himself. After watching this video, my heart hurts for him even coz he is a big victim of false rumors. The so called nationalists didn’t even bother to check for facts and just blindly accused him. He deserves justice.

I have finally finished watching blooms at ruyi pavilion and i have mixed feelings about this drama. The obvious reason I watched this drama is bcoz i miss zhang zhehan. I liked his character in this drama. I feel like his character in the drama is comparatively softer than his character in legend of yunxi and he looks really cute in this drama. I wouldn’t say it’s a good drama but i think it wasn’t bad too. I feel like this drama could have been a lot better if the scriptwriter and editors did a good job. I feel like some of scenes were not edited and cut properly. I mean, i would be enjoying a scene but then it would abruptly move to the next scene, i feel like the transition wasn’t smooth during some of the scenes. The dubbing also sucked for me at the beginning but slowly i got used to it and i was fine with it. The funny thing is zhou zhisu’s voice actor dubs another character in this drama and i think bcoz i watched word of honor a lot, it just felt weird to hear another actor that is not zhang zhehan having zhou zhisu’s voice but slowly i got used to it. All the romantic secenes between duke su/xu jin (zhang zhehan’s character) and fu rong (ju jingyi’s character) were really cute and i wish there were more and long romantic scenes between them. The second couple were also really cute and their story was also quite good. My favorite scene of them would be when they had a romantic date on a wheel chair. I know that was supposed to be a romantic scene but i found that scene really hilarious . What I really disliked was the second male lead duke an. I did feel a bit bad for him when he died at the end coz he did so many bad things to take revenge for his mother’s death, only to realize at the end, that his mother was actually alive but i will never forgive him coz he really didn’t care about other people’s lives except for the female lead and he harmed and tried to kill xu jin many times. Also, I didn’t like how fu rong never completely trusted xu jin. She literally blamed xujin for the death of her father, her master and a member of the ruyi pavilion. I do understand that there were certain coincidences and there were false evidences and situations created so as to present xu jin as the murderer but since she loved him, i wish she could have trusted that he would never do anything that will hurt her.There were also situations when i wished xu jin had also trusted fu rong a bit more but there were more situations i wished fu rong had trusted him more.

I feel like this drama has a lot of flaws but it also had the potential to be a better drama. All the actors did a great job. The customes were good too but i feel like ju jingyi’s make up was a bit overdone in some of the scenes. I mean, even in the funeral, she had the same make up and she looked too bright with those bright colored eye shadows and lipstick even in the funeral and i prefer her makeup in the legend of yunxi more than this drama. Some of the scenes felt unnecessary and boring but some of the scenes were also really cute. If only the scriptwriters and editors had done a bit better job, this drama would have been better. Another thing i liked about this drama was their ending. I was completely satisfied with the ending and i am glad that it was a happy ending unlike legend of yunxi.
