there’s a new item that can add 1-3 eggs to a nest (depending on how big the nest already was). it’s cheap and most of the time the RNG give you three bonus eggs. however; if the RNG gives you a number that goes beyond the capacity of a nest (three eggs for a three egg nest) one of the eggs will randomly become an egg for a different breed—cuckoo dragons are now a thing! congrats!

I’m trying to redo/finish my lore but its not going well and this is all i can muster so there’s several dragons with bios like this but this is my current favorite
How do ya’ll write like...lore???
Writing bios and personalities for dragons is one thing, but what about like...a connected story? How does that work/how do ya’ll come up with ideas for that stuff??
Imagine a flight rising skyrim
You pick your race. Your element (standing stones but cant be changed) you’re dropped into sornieth in the midst of its war and you have god quests and you need to eat and sleep and build your clan and scavenge tools and items and magic and you fight hostile heastclans who can join you and help your cause or put an end to your legacy. Its totally freeform and totally open world. You can fly you can swim you can hunt and everything. Can you end the war or will you die trying?

Kuolema - Death (Finnish)
Kuolema is a reclusive, mysterious dragon. She stays away from most others of the clan, living instead in a small hut near the clan graveyard. From there, she tends to and guards the graves. Despite her unnerving appearance and attitude, she does not seem to wish anyone any ill will. She is not seen for much of the day, but starting around dusk she will begin to tend to the cemetery. She removes flowers offered by the living that have since died, clean headstones and trim bushes and hedges within.
Despite these mundane tasks, she has never complained, and seems content with her lot in life, though she never shows any emotion to confirm this. She moves slowly, purposefully, with an almost dreamlike or illusory grace. A mask and hood cover all but her eyes, but she largely keeps them averted. Even still, much of the clan avoid the graveyard during hours when she tends it. She watches dragons with a strange intent, following their every move, and several describe her gaze as more piercing than any other as if she were seeing something others could not. She has a habit of offering somewhat cryptic, unnerving comments to seemingly random individuals, offering an "it is good to see you looking better" to complete strangers, or "you were so distraught before...it seems this new look is better" to someone she saw only yesterday. Her voice is wheezy and soft and sounds almost as if it comes from far away. Her body in general looks frail and skeletal, much of her wing missing its membrane, her feathers usually ruffled and unkempt, and her limbs appearing longer and thinner than should be healthy. Her cloak covers much of her body, and always her face.
I’m redoing my lore and since it’s a port trader’s town I need a list of roles to give dragons that I have just stripped everything from.
I largely need things for vendors to sell.
pottery/antiques, sea/stained glass, farmer’s market, cheeses, wine, small fresh markets with seasonal vegetables, fishmonger, butcher, dairy, fabrics, rugs, clothing, florist, seeds/goods for farmers, dry goods like flour, canned fruits/vegetables, cafes like gelato or coffee or lunch places, these are some I remember from San Sebastián & some that make sense? also a shipment company & ship makers

Apparently about two dozen dragons just got jobs.
I suppose in relation to my last post, if anyone feels like suggesting lore/dressing any of these hobos im more than happy to listen. My brain is. Very dead right now.

Somewhat both? Largely goods they would make/provide and sell TOO other clans.
Like as an example, I’ve got a jeweler (Onshi) who trades with travelers for gold and gems, makes jewelry, then sells those for the majority of his profit.

I largely need things for vendors to sell.
I feel like I need to just completely re-do the lore I have on some (most) of my dragons and that thought is just really scary

Just wanted to try making a skin cuz I rarely do it, and the Gaolers seemed like a good opportunity to try it out. Accent: Overseer’s Escapee as a possible name? Just kinda trying it out. Lemme know if you’re interested and I might run it? We’ll see I suppose.

Alright before I commit: Would there be interest in this breeding pair if I breed changed them? Tbh I’m only hesitant because I love the added gold from the accent/apparel but they look SO GOOD as Gaolers
