this is an intro

hi! I'm mado. im an autistic adult. my therapist has recommended starting a blog about genshin (and HSR) since Its difficult for me to talk about with most people, so this is for that. im not really good at using tumblr but I like to make gifs and art :3

i main…… idk. Chasca? Zibai??? Idk. …I started playing Genshin in 1.2, stopped in 2.1, and came back in 5.1 lol. I'm AR 60, and I have 74 characters. I have every 4*~

i am the exploration guy. I have every region 100% explored, every tree/pool/fountain/etc at their max level, and reputation maxed everywhere!

im also chipping away at achievements. I have 1576 as of 4/26/26

im much more of a noob at hsr. I just started the amphoreus chapter, and my two teams are sparxie, sparkle, yao guang, PT danheng, and castorice, blade, tribbie, hyacine.

im a college student majoring in art history

i have multiple mental illnesses and disabilities (physical and otherwise) i may talk about

6.6 Pulling Plans~

I think this kind of post is less common here and more common on HoYoLAB, but I’m pleased with the format I made so wanted to share it anyways ^_^

What are you guys’s plans for 6.6 banners? Im so hyped for Nicole, so my absolute priority is getting her. Even though im a little stuck on a team comp for her…….. something with citlali? Maybe with Clorinde and chevruse? Im not sure ;-; (but am open to recommendations) right now I use during with Chasca lol, so it doesn’t even have to be a typical team comp. I also have c5 (built) Mona for hexrei resonance. I love melt/vape teams but im not sure if i have a proper dps for it lol, and dont know if I’ll be lucky enough to get lohen or mavuika.

a bit of a new style here~ but im planning on doing a gifset like this for every path! Abundance is one of the paths with less pcs, though, so maybe other gifsets will be in multiple parts. I’m going to try to go in alphabetical order for both character and path— so destruction is next!

It’s pretty hard to find good quality gifs of 4*s, so maybe I won’t include all of them lol… and im not super pleased with lingsha’s either!! I don’t want most of these to go into the namecards. So I’ll try to avoid that in the future…

I love hyacine, I just got Castorice for her and my current team is Castorice, blade, remembrance mc, and hyacine! I’m hoping to replace mc with tribbie next phase, but that depends on my luck, especially since I’m pulling for castorices light cone still…. ;-;

Anyways, I’m still considering who to pick from the golden companion spirit shop. Everyone is saying huohuo, but I already have hyacine, luocha, and Gallagher! Who are you all picking? Any advice?

now that I’m playing HSR and Genshin, it seems my luck fluctuates between the two ~ I got Linnea very early which I’m so pleased about, I love her lot! But in honkai land, it took 80 pulls for me to lose on castorices banner and now I’m stuck saving up again to pull more… rip. Especially because I like SW999 and wanted tribbie too! T_T Luckily, I did get sparxie to e1 previously, which is really nice. I have her full premium team! Right now I’m finishing up finals, but I’m hoping after that to get back to gif making. Hsr and geshin both!

long time no post… oops! And it’s Honkai now..! This is a little edit I did for fun to make Hyacine look like me because I love her. This isn’t a redesign (tag for reach lol sorry) or anything lol it’s just. Me. (Hat removed bc I don’t wear hats. Gold accents changed bc I hate wearing gold. )

Happy Birthday, Durin!

March 14th, Sunny

Today was a special day. I received so many gifts from my friends.

The Traveler even made a little dragon-shaped cake for me. It was very cute... and very tasty.

There was just one candle on the cake. I think humans use that to mean someone is turning one year old.

I hope next year's March 14th will be just as happy. When that day comes, do you think I should prepare gifts for everyone too?

guys I did it ok. I finally started playing hsr… I’m already trailblaze lvl 53 and am preparing a premium team for sparxie (I have Yao guang, sparkle, and dan heng PT / luocha for sustain) ;^; hsr building is complicated lololol but I’m in penacony now and enjoying the story a lot. While I like the combat in genshin more, I enjoy the turn based combat too

happy lantern rite to all and I hope your zibai pulls go well! Mado rambles about lantern rite below:

My pulls went great— I got her in 6 pulls! 6 pulls from columbina and I got another limited 5*. Luck was definitely on my side! Spending all my pulls, I got c1 zibai and c6 illuga with 170 wises which I’m super happy with. I’m hoping for c2 zibai and plan to keep pulling for that. I don’t want her sig though since it’ll mess up my build right now, lol… I don’t have many good def% artifacts…

While pulling I also finally got kujou sara, which I’m super happy about too. I also managed to get c6 gorou, c3 aino (she avoids me like the plague), and my last con for xingqui too! Now I have 13 characters at c6. I lost my 50/50 once to qiqi, so she’s now c3. I’m currently back to my 50/50 with 25 pity

The only 4* I don’t have now is kirara! Isn’t that a shame?! She’s so cute, I want her so bad… maybe she’ll run next time lauma reruns?!

I like zibai as a character, but I feel kinda disappointed by the ending of lantern rite. Like… her instability isn’t reflected through her playstyle, but it also isn’t solved? I do enjoy her as a character though and I’m excited to see more of her. :) I thought the visuals for this lantern rite were great. Very beautiful. For Chinese new year, I’ll post a gif set of lantern rite graphics. I’m not sure if I’ll just do this year, or if I’ll include every year!

in my dream my sister started playing genshin and there was two new banners for two new five stars.: sandrone AND PULONIA. sandrone was electro and pulonia was pyro. Hoyo consider that ok.
