this is an intro

hi! I'm mado. im an autistic adult. my therapist has recommended starting a blog about genshin (and HSR) since Its difficult for me to talk about with most people, so this is for that. im not really good at using tumblr but I like to make gifs and art :3

i main Zibai ~ Team comp of: Zibai, c6 illuga, linnea, and columbina. My favorite characters are probably faruzan, Nicole, columbina, linnea, and navia (in no particular order)

I started playing Genshin in 1.2, stopped in 2.1, and came back in 5.1 lol. I'm AR 60, and I have 79 characters, every 4* except Prune

i am the exploration guy. I have every region 100% explored, every offering location at their max level, and reputation maxed everywhere. (Up to: Luna VIII, Frost Moon Map)

im also chipping away at achievements. I have 1653 as of 8/2/26. If you can’t tell, I’m a completionist

im much more of a noob at hsr, it phases in and out a lot more than genshin does for me

i don't really care about shipping / i multiship ; ask me about my headcanons! :3 (shipping or otherwise)

i have multiple mental illnesses and disabilities (physical and otherwise) i may talk about

im a college student majoring in art history! …Aside from Genshin, my special interests include art history (especially modern), DC Comics, and certain parts of US history. This blog is pretty much only for genshin though!

i knowwww I don’t post much about umamusume here… but I got yukino yesterday the minute she came out and have already trained her better than any of my other Uma =w= I’m so pleased even knowing she isn’t the most meta unit I love her a lot ~ this afternoon I’ll start working towards the Yukino bijin completionist title! I have it for digitan but that’s it, my other favorites are Curren Chan and hishi akebono and it’s too difficult to get their aptitudes good enough to that, lol…

Depending on how much spare change I have after odette, hopefully I can get some Yukino merch :) I got some Uma merch at a con earlier this summer, but couldn’t find any Yukino *_*

I crave content where wanderer and columbina reconcile with the fact that they were similarly abused by dottore and find some sort of comfort in the similarities and differences of their pasts. To be treated as a god and rejected by one, to be wired into godhood and to have it stolen from you just after accepting it, to be harassed and used by a colleague and someone once seen as a trusted companion. No ship just let them talk and relate nicely . Please hoyo. Please hoyo. Please hoyo.

can I post something actually controversial. I don’t like kavetham. The more I see it IN GAME the less I like it. Fanart is cute and at first it started as this cute ‘roommates that argue but love each other actually’ thing, but lately it just feels like alhaitham intentionally pissing kaveh off and not caring when he gets upset. It gives me extreme secondhand embarrassment because I live with people like that, I get upset without realizing they’re intentionally riling me up, and then it’s extremely embarrassing to feel like I just made a fool of myself when the other person is still cool and collected! It makes me upset to watch LOL, their interactions in Act IX and X were so unpleasant TwT…

I expected similar with ratio and adventurine but tbh that’s not as bad because at least adven bounces back or has something to add always… I can’t recall it ever clearly bothering him. but with Kaveh, he’s always bothered!! And I think it’s a shame bc at first it was actually cute and funny. Loosing the keys was funny! The worst part is probably that the only other people I ever see who dislike kavetham are homophobic jackasses… I don’t gaf that they’re gay, I just don’t like alhaitham provoking kaveh ToT

welp, decided to pull on columbina’s banner to either build pity or get c1 (<- I really want that shield…) and wound up loosing to Jean in about 50 pulls. Oh well! Now im guaranteed for odette at least, and I still have 30 pulls left without buying extra. I have the money for about 80 wishes so c2 odette is still viable I suppose, granted I hopefully get early pity…

sorry to double post but is it bootlicking hoyo to be annoyed about people begging for and actually expecting a trading system for weapons and characters? (Sarcastic) it’s a GACHA GAME. They want you to get useless things and then have to buy new things. Lol. That’s how they make money. Ofc they’re never going to add a system that makes it so people don’t have to spend anything to get new/favorite/meta characters. I feel similarly when people say they wish they could give up characters for the same amount of primos they spent on them… the point is that the old characters are no longer meta. You’re playing a gacha game. You’re losing chess to a dog. 😭

this is aside from the issue of young people being tricked by trades/regretting them/etc… it’s a problem hoyo wouldn’t want to manage lol

Went to my local figure store and saw this beautiful Citlali figure that I’ve never seen before… Maybe once I start working I’ll save up for her! I got a kangel figure instead lol. If anyone’s interested, I’d be happy to post pictures of my figures/collections eventually <3
