Status ailment starters. Send a number for a starter where my muse is afflicted with one of the below! Add "+reverse" for your muse to be the afflicted instead. Or, send "status" for me to pick one of the below using a random number generator.
Severity is up to the mun of the afflicted muse β while some of these are silly or fantastical in nature, some could be played as more realistic. Be mindful of triggers!
(Statuses are yoinked from various sources, with some overlap. If you recognize any specific ones: shhhhh)
Poison - Receiver has come across a toxin of some sort and is looking rather pallid.
Paralysis - Receiver has been stunned into a state of being partially or completely unable to move.
Burned - Receiver has come across extremely high temperatures and suffered burns, or is otherwise overheating.
Frozen - Receiver is chilled to the bone and needs to warm up to be able to move or do much of anything effectively again.
Confusion - Receiver is dizzy and disoriented. Up is down, left is right, friend is foe...
Sleep - Receiver is exhausted and simply can't keep their eyes open any longer...
Nightmare - Receiver finds themselves in the clutches of bad dreams.
Infatuation - Whatever their feelings were before, receiver suddenly finds themselves absolutely smitten with a) sender, or b) a muse of the asker's choice. (Involving a third party requires consent from all muns.)
Gravity - Like metal to a magnet, receiver finds they can no longer get far off the ground or away from a particular spot. Flying muses are grounded.
Bind - Receiver finds themselves bound, whether by monster, trap, or some other apparatus.
Darkness - Receiver's sight has either been diminished or is completely gone (up to mun of afflicted muse).
Silence - Receiver can no longer make a sound, impeding their ability to use any ability that requires vocalization (e.g. spellcasting, sound-based attacks, shouting ultimate attack names).
Debrave - Something in inhibiting receiver's physical attack prowess.
Defaith - Something is inhibiting receiver's magical prowess.
Deprotect - Something is causing receiver to take more damage from incoming attacks.
Smokescreen - Something is inhibiting receiver's accuracy.
Disease - Something is impeding receiver's ability to recover from whatever malady is afflicting them.
Amnesia - Something has caused receiver to forget how to use certain skills. Or, per mun's discretion, maybe muse has forgotten something(s) non-combat related and even more important...
Toad - Receiver is a frog now! And you know how the fairytale goes...
Afraid - Receiver is paralyzed in a more metaphorical sense. Something has them so afraid they cannot act.
Cold - Luckily, it seems like receiver has nothing more than the common cold. Unluckily, receiver has the common cold.
Nauseous - Receiver is sick to their stomach and either refuses to eat or can't keep anything down.
Homesick - Receiver misses home so badly they can't do or think anything else :(
Hunger - Receiver is ravenous to the point of dizziness. They need a good meal in them, stat.
Thirst - Receiver is parched and starting to feel the effects of dehydration.
Oxygen - Something is either making it difficult for receiver to breathe, or straight up suffocating them.
Exhaustion - Nothing remains of receiver's stamina. They simply can't take any further action and might collapse...
Rage - Something has provoked receiver into a blind rage. They may hit harder for it, but attacking with reckless abandon may prove dangerous on both ends of the fight.
Brainwashed - It seems receiver's mind is firmly within the enemy's grasp. Hopefully something can bring them back to themselves... (Optional: sender could be the brainwasher, but this requires communication and consent between muns.)
Dealer's choice - Receiver gets to pick from any of the above. (If sent with +reverse, sender is at receiver's mercy...)
