Home of Spirits lost to the fade and themselves.
Main pairings I'm in love with right now are: Laenathe(oc) & Anaris,
Cyrian & Felassan, Zahir(oc) & Cyrian.
Dragon age fandom sideblog.
This place is home to things long forgotten and to things not yet found. Both within the Fade itself, the Crossroads and connected Lighthouse, and the Waking World.
Be welcome denizens of Thedas and find comfort among those dwelling here.
And to those who are lost, I hope that you find your path and peace.
With warm regards,
Laenathe (Glory)
My main multi-fandom blog can be found @golddragondesigns, while my baby Dragon age event blog can be found @ancientsofarlathan, it's not even a year old yet.
Most of my Dragon age fandom writing will be posted here as I post on AO3, hopefully I remember, where I post under the name KayranVok.
I hope you all can find the solace here that you need from all the discourse out there.
With regards,

A snippet for Day 7-Free Day/AU follows under the break. @ancientsofarlathan
Shifting sound coming from the tent’s flap draws his attention from the maps before him. Looking up he sees Felassan watching him warily, Elgar’nan sighs, “What has the Dread Wolf done now?”
Grimacing slightly, Felassan approaches the table, reaching for the wolf statuette and placing it closer to the fronts than before. “He knows you’re the one leading us now.” He sighs, meeting Elgar’nan’s gaze, “Tortured one of ours to find it out. While the other Evanuris are focused on wielding the Blight, he is focused on you. Why?”
Long may the Sun Tamer reign in all his glory. Remembered to post this early for me.
Days 5 and 6 for #ElgarnanSummerSolsticeWeek2026 and @ancientsofarlathan

After the war with the Titans, Elgar'nan begins to lead the rebuild efforts while not taking part. His command over the People sees to Arlathan's founding and the building of other vast realms for the other Evanuris.
Arlathan being the seat of the Sun, Elgar'nan's throne, and home to visiting Evanuris once the Eluvians are built by June. And while it is primarily Elgar'nan's throne, there is another section for the thrones of all Evanuris.
Watching his people bow to him, Elgar'nan keeps his emotions off his face. Though, from the way Fen'harel is eyeing him, not very well to his eyes. Elgar'nan's smugness and self-satisfaction grows with each one that praises his name.
And as the day goes on, Mythal's lap dog grows more and more grave faced, watching the Sun Tamer gain more followers and worshippers. Something the other Evanuris take notice of as the days go by, taking some for their own temples.
A new day has dawned. Pay no mind to the fact that this is late in the day.
Days 3 and 4 for #ElgarnanSummerSolsticeWeek2026 and @ancientsofarlathan

The skies are clear as he steps out onto his personal balcony, overlooking the vast marble and gold spires of Arlathan. Elgar’nan surveils what has been built in his name with a satisfied smirk, before re-entering his chambers.
There he finds Andruil and Ghilan’nain. The Huntress as usual is pacing, unable to remain still. The Mother of Halla on the other hand is all but vibrating in place to the Allfather's eye. Approaching them, Elgar’nan smiles in indulgence, "Now what has caught your fancy?"
Standing in the Archon's palace, overlooking Minrathous and the Blight choking its streets. Elgar’nan glares down at the city, grief in his heart, "Ghilan’nain, sister, I shall continue our work. They will all bend the knee to me."

Command overlooks the vast plains and forests by the side of Benevolence and her constant shadow, Wisdom. At the Titans and their so called ‘Children of the Stone’. Benevolence sways closer to him, ‘We should have what they have. You could have a form to Command the peoples with, a form to rule with.’
Command hums a thoughtful note before turning to see a smaller Titan with its veins open to the sky, glittering in the sunlight. Wisdom chimes in upon noticing, ‘I don’t think that is Wise to do Command.’ His hum turns to a discordant note in annoyance, ‘Then do not participant.’
Scowling as he overlooks the abandoned battlefield, Elgar’nan turns to face Mythal’s lapdog, “Are you happy now, Fen’harel? Does it please you to see all this death?” The Wolf twitches at the barb within those words, “I take no joy in this. If you had heeded my words in the beginning, it would not have come to this.”

Come, join me, as I share a memory of the Sun's chosen. One who was cast aside by him, when another caught his eye.
Prompts from the Forgotten Ones Week 2026 used are: Day 6: Forgotten Ocs/Free Choice and Exile.
It’s been weeks since since he last summoned me to his side, days since he last looked at me instead of her. Laenathe glowers from one of the few shadows of Elgar’nan’s citadel, watching him with her, with her auburn hair and golden and violet eyes. With how she challenges him in ways he never allowed them.
Silently they turn away from the two of them, stalking away their Lord and his new jewel in disgust. They avoid the palace servants and return to their chambers. Only to find it getting packed up and cleaned up, stopping them in their tracks, “What is the meaning of this? Am I being moved?”
The sentinel at the door bars them entrance, “Per Lord Elgar’nan’s command, you are relieved of your position. You will present yourself to him at his throne as soon as possible.”
Their brows furrow, before they turn away. Composing themself before they enter the throne room, pointedly ignoring his new jewel and kneeling down before him, “You summoned me, my Lord?”
He hums, staring down at them, “Laenathe, you have served me well in all your centuries by my side. But unfortunately your service must come to an end within these halls. I exile you to beyond my realm, to the places only the Forgotten dare walk.” A snap of his fingers and the blood-binding on them dissolves away, leaving them wide-eyed at his feet.
“Begone come sun-fall, or be unmade instead.” Are his final words before he brushes past them and out of the throne room with her. His sentinels watch them silently, hands on their weapons.
Standing up slowly, their bangles and jewellery jingle from their shaking. Laenathe, once the Glory of Elgar’nan, is his no more. As they leave the throne room, the eyes of the servants and sentinels bore into them, forcing them to keep their head down.
Upon reaching the outskirts of the citadel, they look back and see the sentinels barring the gate behind them. The fire of their spirit sparks, for Glory cannot be cast aside without consequences. And with a scoff, they shift and take flight, flaming wings bright in the sky as Laenathe leaves Arlathan behind for the last time.
For now.

i've found my little zone in fandom that i'm comfortable in, but it occurs to me that others are still struggling to find the people who actually enjoy this game! and who talk about it!
so please do reply or reblog if you're veilguard positive and talk about it uwu
Here is Lanathe, a former Spirit of Glory, once bound to Elgar'nan's service. They were released from his service once he had another to focus on.
Before they were exiled from his side, they were to pet of Elgar'nan and his attack dog in much the same way that Solas was Mythal's.
But upon being exiled, Laenathe came across Anaris and became intrigued by his fascination with them and their power. Resulting in them getting together intimately.
When they awoke after the Veil was raised, the Lords of Fortune took them in. For gold and glory as they say.
Unlike Solas when he first awoke, Laenathe is capable of changing into a form reminiscent of their spirit form and much of the same magic as before.
But as Rook is unable to use it to its fullest until the final battle against Elgar'nan.
