This human was... Blues wasn’t sure of the right word to use. Uncanny seemed to fit him best. It was almost like looking in a mirror appearance-wise, only features were just noticeably off. Whoever this was, it clearly wasn’t him, but they’d caught his interest, and he’d seemingly caught theirs.

“Is there something I can help you with, or did you just want to stare for a while?”

Blues was usually able to disguise himself as a human relatively well, but with all the damage he’d suffered as of late, it was fairly obvious that he was more than appearances let on. Cracks and fractures riddled his body, none particularly fatal but all of them showing that the young boy’s appearance was nearly a facade for the machine beneath it.

He’d been dragging himself along to find shelter and somewhere to repair himself when he came face to face with another... android? He was usually able to tell if someone was a machine, but with this one he wasn’t sure. The appearance was usually a giveaway, though. Regardless, he spoke coldly, too little energy to even try and put emotion in his voice.

“If you’ll excuse me, I’m a little busy trying to find a hole to die in.”

There were three fairly standard reactions Blues gave to those approaching him. The most common was a cautious yet not overly hostile greeting. After that came a much happier, optimistic greeting for the few he cared for, or for when he was in a rare good mood. The last was reserved for people like Bass. Annoyance and little to no acknowledgement.

“What is it that you want, Bass? Your rivalry with my brother is none of my concern, so I assume you’re here for something else.”

“Excuse me,” Proto Man’s calm, polite voice called out, gently tapping the stranger’s shoulder. Should he catch there attention, he’d look around the area a little before speaking. “I don’t suppose... you’ve seen a cat in this area, have you? I’m afraid mine just ran off, and I can’t quite seem to find him.”

Solitude was a wonderful thing, but silence wasn’t always what Blues was seeking. Instead, anyone nearby would hear him fill the air with the sound of a song, perched overlooking the city as he whistled his own tune. The melody was a lighthearted one, the android clearly in a good mood as he clearly hadn’t noticed the visitor yet.
