This past month in my sketchbook. Some of my favorite Texas natives. I am moving to Oregon before the month is out and I wanted to commemorate my favorite thing about my home state, the nature.
Drawing has been like pulling teeth for a long time now, and I hate that feeling. I want to dedicate more time to it but im struggling to push through. I always hit my lowest lows before big life events and it seems that this time is no different. I'm tired, and somewhere along the way making art started to feel like work. I don't have an answer but I'm gonna keep trying.
Another from today cause i like how this one turned out. Lichens are tough subjects but pleasantly abstract.
