Deep Purple Bolete (Xerocomellus atropurpureus)
Working on some fun stuff I'll be able to share soon! Also, celebrating 11 years of this blog!!
more delicious mushrooms I found!
A couple of recent boletes 》 family Boletaceae. Second one might be of the genus Xerocomus, but i can't say for sure. Boletes always stump me, idk why.
If anyone has any ideas on what these might be, lmk!
look at this strobilomyces strobilaceus i saw yesterday

Ghost bolete (Leccinum holopus)
I think this is a ghost bolete, thought I'm not sure - I don't recognise it as any other kind of bolete, though I'm happy to be corrected if anyone knows!
Ghost boletes are a good edible, but quite rare in the UK, so (along with not being certain of ID) I left it be.
