There could be a Civil War Arc!
This all started when I saw the hierarchy/ranking of hell for Hazbin Hotel and Hellvua Boss.
The top half makes sense, but the bottom half does not.
Why are the sinners not at the bottom?
Why are the imp & hellhounds not considered hellborn?
Why and how do the overlords exist?
How did this even happen?
It could all be explained in this arc. I'm just writing down some ideas.
It began as a typical day for I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals). A sinner sought their assistance to resolve unfinished business, but this time, the sinner was unique—someone with a background in demonology or mythology. They inquired about the powers of I.M.P. (Blitz, Moxxie, Millie, and Loona), a question they had never encountered before. Intrigued, the sinner began sharing tales of how hell is perceived in the human realm, including the powers of imps and hellhounds, such as The Bottle Imp and Cerberus. The sinner mentioned that they were disappointed for not being tortured the moment they arrived. The sinner also noted that if they wanted to learn more, they needed to retrieve a chest from their room and bring it back after concluding their business. They complied, and upon their return, the sinner opened the chest, showcasing all their stories, including the Holy Bible. The sinner then started recounting everything they knew.
Following the departure of the sinner, I.M.P. initiated a period of intense self-examination, scrutinizing aspects ranging from their organizational structure and operational practices to the fundamental nature of their existence.
The first straw is the news broadcast featuring the princess of Hell, Charlie. Due to overpopulation, Hell undergoes an annual purge during which angels descend from Heaven and kill sinners. Charlie finds this upsetting and seeks a more peaceful solution to the overpopulation problem. Her goal is to have her clients "check out" from Hell as redeemed souls and be accepted into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, one question pops into their minds.
“Why are the sinners getting more power when they lived in hell their whole lives?”
The last straw is the end of season 1 and the entirety of season 2 with the seven deadly sins and Stolas. They started arguing about the hierarchy and their rights, only to be ignored, mocked, and have the only power they had taken away. So, they started fighting back by changing their business from helping sinners to helping hellborn instead, starting protests in each of the rings and even trying to make a deal with the angels to kill the sinners for them.
Again, I'm just writing down some ideas. Feel free to develop or enhance this concept through fan fiction or art, as long as you give me credit.
