sora and the sortas
I think this scene in the longer preview is a flashback for a bunch of reasons
1. Kyo is wearing his givw star necklace(we don't see it in full display but he's still wearing one)
2. He doesen't have his scar
3. his hair is in the style he wore as a five star, with a few strands behind his ear
4. the red insides of these two digimon makes me think murasamemon just deleted them and as much as Kyo is trying to revert to his old self I don't think he'll actually destroy any digimon (outside of maybe shoji's but hopefully the kids will stop him before he does
Usually I roll my eyes when one villain is tied to all the bad stuff that happens to the characters But I keep being like "please tell me Genjo is behind this" whenever anything happens I just want him to make a move so badly
I really wonder if Kishiwada works for Genjo and he's the real mastermind of GIFT Arc and Kyo Arc for some reason.
Kishiwada knew about Souji despite all his data being erased and somehow managed to get and send him a Digimon to escape. And then there's how the White Core ended on his hands and how he used Mephismon as its host...
At the very least, he needs to have a Perfect-level Digimon helping him, since he's able to open gates to Mirror World and travel there... That or he himself is secretly a Digimon.
Idk Kishiwada is somehow this figure so important in the plot and able to do so much despite looking like a secondary filler character. Would make more sense if Genjo was the true mastermind instructing him (since he has access to that much power due to his position) even if we still don't know why
Kaito coming back after his stop at Glowing Dawn like "Yeah they didn't know where Kyo was either but that four eyed brat was real fucking insistent he'll find him before I do" and Raito's like "Of course he was" and Kaito wonders if the kid realizes just how fond his voice sounded just then
Raito doesn’t even know it. He also doesn’t know how angry he sounds when he finds out Tomoro got knocked unconscious again
Remember that time Reina almost got eaten 😭
Just saying, Klay should have been using Naito's back as his chair. That's it. That's Naito return.
Golden eyed prodigies averting their gazes when saying callous things they don't actually mean
Kaito only came by for a bit to aura farm on Brilliant Thorn and declare he's gonna go after Kyo but I'm still happy we finally got more from him
Mmmmm.. So...
Kyo became a cleaner at 11. The same age as Makoto.
He worked as a five star at 14/15. Same age as Tomoro.
And he killed souji/left the five stars/lost his family at 16/17. Same age as Reina.
If you think about it, the guy never had a moment to breath during his childhood, so the fact that he takes care of three kids that represent these stages of his life is so cathartic and poetic...
Now if only he could take care of himself as well...
Gotta say, as much as this scene hurt, I loved the way the expressions showcased each character. Like Reina and Makoto look the most shocked and stunned while Tomoro still seems to have a grasp on himself and the situation.
I mean, it makes sense since the two of them have been with Kyo the longest
Not book smart or street smart but a secret third thing.
supid
supid.
Well, we now have confirmation of how far kyo's scar spreads across his body.
It doesen't reach his wrists like I thought, but it is still pretty big, especially when he stands up and you realize it covers half of his back.
The true unsang heroes of this episode.
Thank you for your service🫡 🫡 🫡
Prayer circle for Kaito appearance in the preview for episode 40 🙏🙏🙏
PRAYER CIRCLE WORKED BETTER THAN I IMAGINED HE APPARENTLY JUST APPEARED IN THIS EPISODE
[SPOILER ALERT!!]
I Cried, I Actually Cried
Why, Just Why ?
IT WAS VERY PAINFUL 😭😭😭
At least the trio found the truth short after
Now it's time to bring Kyo back
I wonder if a part of Tomoro will be mad about what happened in 39... since Kyo acted like Asuka, hiding the truth to protect them
Before, he just didn't talk about his past. But this time he outright lied and acted alone, all to protect them, instead of sharing the burden
and look look, WHO DIDN'T DO THAT TO TOMORO?
Raito in episode 33.
He did lie, but he didn't try to protect Tomoro, he trusted his strenght and shared the burden with him to deal with the situation (even if Tomoro didn't know he was, because he lied to hide how much he cared lol) (?)
Asuka and Kyo did what Tomoro hates. Holding the burden alone, trying to shelter him at their own cost.
But Raito didn't.
He might have lied about it and fooled him, but he didn't shelter him, he knew he would get involved and trusted his plan would work because Tomoro was there.
Because he trusts him and shares the burden with him, even if he tries to hide it as the tsundere asshole he is --
