Hey!! I saw your post about your website and instantly got intrested + your art is SO adorable and cute <3 (love the art style!)

I'm curious, how you find inspiration to build your website? Honestly I get so lost every time I try to build my own, at least I have a fixed color palette (yaayy!)

thank you for the ask!! :D the main thing I do to get inspiration for my site is look at other's sites!! I look at what they do, go "oh that's really cool!!" and then I try to do it myself :3 it's really fun for me at least. i also like to use webrings to look at a bunch of sites for inspo!! I also use sites like pinterest for inspiration too - it's mostly screenshots of carrds on that site, but I still find them personally inspiring there's also this resource list by xandra that also has a list on fun little widgets and stuff!! for more like... "actually wanting to work on my website"-inspiration, I try simplify my workload - I use a static site generator (jekyll) and it makes me really motivated to actually work on my site - if I want to tinker with the layout I use on most of my pages, I don't have to tediously copy and paste it over and over (if you're Super curious, you can have a look through my source code for how i use jekyll. i want to eventually make a guide on jekyll and why i love it so much. eventually) you can also write a list (mentally or w/e) for what pages you want, for me, i always start with the basics (index - about me - sitemap - links(whether be your own contact links or a button wall) - credits) and then work from there. if you draw art, put an art page, if you write, a writing page, etc.! i plan to eventually make a plushie page for all my plushies because i think it'd be fun!

sorry that this answer is a little wordy (VERY WORDY.... SORRY) and aimless, but that's my thoughts on it!! thank you for the ask again :D
